Summary: As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for installing various components and assembling our hydrogen-producing and distribution equipment. Some components are heavy and need a forklift to position them for assembly. Some components are light and can be installed by hand. Precision measuring, precision layout, and component mounting/assembly are the primary functions of this job. Components installed include Electric motors, pumps, pulleys & belts, compressors, condenser tanks, storage vessels, filters, cooling system components, and various valve technologies. Electrical controls and panels are also installed. Main responsibility is to function as mechanical design support on project work to improve existing fibre optic cable manufacturing equipment.
