As a CQV Engineer/Mechanical Turnover Specialist, you will be responsible for facilitating coordination of meeting with sub-contractors to verify CTOP form requirements, you will assure critical pre-commissioning activities such as megger and continuity, testing and balancing, chemical cleaning and flushing, passivation, pressure testing are all properly documented. You will also utilize ACC digital platform to review and create system turnover packages. ACC will also be utilized to support documentation such as submittals, RFIs, drawings, specifications, and punch list data. You will review sub-contractors and vendors documenting activities required under the CTOP Fishbone to compile system turnover packages (CTOPs) to be 100% complete at the mechanical completion date. Additional tasks include following up on the progress of the CTOP forms completion as the construction advances. You will obtain the Field Engineer support to improve contactor’s response as necessary. You will also validate that the vendor VDR documentation complies with engineering specifications. You’ll be accountable for reading P&IDs, line diagrams, panel layouts, and CSA drawings as per system scope requirements. You will identify system scope in drawings for walkdown documentation package, conduct system walkdown with the P&IDs and other documentation as required to ensure that the system is complete and ready for client walkdown. You’ll also assure all punch list items recorded during engineering and sub-contractors shakedown walkdowns are closed before client walkdown is scheduled for execution. Other responsibilities include facilitating walkdowns with client rep as per engineering project controls schedule requirements. You will coordinate with field construction quality team to resolve issues that arise from system walkdowns and track and report critical punch list findings to CM, sub-contractor, vendors, CQV, and project controls teams that impact timely delivery.
