Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities: Take new product ideas and product support projects from concept to production by managing engineering project activities and priorities while coordinating with sales, manufacturing, sourcing, and quality. Use engineering principles, proprietary design tools, and internal design criteria to develop new product concepts or enhanced features for existing products Create 3-D models, assemblies, and 2-D prints as needed to validate concepts, detail designs, and communicate design intent. Specify and supervise product validation testing required to validate new concepts and designs including documenting test results of standardized tests.
