GWBI is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer Assistant Level II who will be responsible for supporting the engineering team in meeting customer needs by assisting with design tasks, technical documentation, and overall project execution, related to electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists. Key Responsibilities • 2D and 3D CAD Work: Create both 2D and 3D designs using CAD software for visualizing and planning manufacturing processes. • Draft Shop Drawings: Prepare detailed shop drawings that serve as blueprints for manufacturing and assembly. • Reviewing Documentation: Assess and validate documentation before it is released to production, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards. • Entering Bills and Materials into ERP Systems: Input and manage bills of materials within ERP systems. • Internal Filing: Organize and maintain documentation and records for easy access and reference. • Provide Manufacturing Support: Offering assistance in resolving production-related issues, such as engineering design challenges, material shortages and fabrication or assembly difficulties, is crucial for maintaining workflow and minimizing downtime. • Create Custom User Manuals: Develop tailored user manuals for all equipment manufactured, ensuring clarity and usability for end-users.
