Due to continued success, we are seeking Mechanical Fitters to join our skilled and reputable team of industry professionals. If you are wanting a great opportunity to have the best of both worlds with both Perth and away work read on. Immediate start available. These are full time permanent positions based in Henderson with travel to sites in Australia and on a rare occasion international sites required. You will need to be available and flexible to work both at Henderson and to travel to site when required, sometimes at short notice and staying until the scope of work is completed. As a Skilled And Experienced Mechanical Fitter You Will • Work on both new and second hand plant to assemble, install, service and maintain machinery, equipment and parts; • Analyse and interpret blueprints for mechanical systems to determine the specifications for plant and equipment; • Conduct diagnostic testing on malfunctioning plant and machinery to determine the root cause of the malfunction and replace or repair damaged or defective structural components as needed; • Conduct planned and unplanned work order scheduling of preventative maintenance and seasonal servicing of plant and equipment. Skills And Experience • 3 years plus mechanical fitter post trade within a medium size enterprise manufacturing or industrial environment • Understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics work processes and ability to read, follow and communicate procedures and work instructions • Demonstrated ability to work with limited supervision whilst exercising initiative and judgemen • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to analyse, formulate and implement appropriate solutions • Ability to learn, develop and share technical and product knowledge • Sound time management and time keeping skills with the ability to work to deadlines and prioritise effectively • Team player with a strong commitment to quality, safety, sustainable work practices and achieving high levels of productivity • Intermediate level computer and technology skills • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build and maintain internal working relationships which contribute to a harmonious, efficient and productive working culture Qualifications • Trade Qualification (Engineering-Mechanical) Parking at the front door is a great perk along with company that supports a work/life balance. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR As a Mechanical Designer 3, you will undertake complex design projects, utilizing your proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and Revit. You will be responsible for executing detailed design work, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and specifications. This role requires a high level of certification and a strong background in mechanical design and small project leadership. You will have regular interaction with the fabrication shop and project management teams, as well as occasional client interactions and presentations.
