Due to continued growth, we are seeking candidates for the position of (Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer). We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for improved efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to support prototyping and mechanical design validation activities, development, design-for-manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives related to board-level and enclosure-level electro-mechanical assemblies. Requirements: REASONABLE ACCOMMODATIONS MAY BE MADE TO ENABLE INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES TO PERFORM THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS. • Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures. • Focus on the introduction and improvement of manufacturing processes for hardware, electronic PCBs, and electro-mechanical assemblies. • Collaborate with design and production teams to facilitate high quality, efficient production of board-level and chassis-level embedded computer products. • Collaborate with internal production teams to build and deliver aerospace grade harness cables. • Lead a small team of mechanical production-support technicians to drive daily tasks and oversee new product introductions (NPI), design validation, process documentation, and production & test support responsibilities • Provide technical support to production teams and troubleshoot mechanical issues on the shop floor. • Assist Quality in material reviews, including root-cause investigations and dispositioning of non-conforming materials and 8D reporting. • Develop and maintain mechanical manufacturing documentation, including process and assembly work instructions, technical drawings packages for tooling and test-support equipment and fixtures. • Work with design engineering teams to design harnesses/PCBAs for manufacturing and quality, including reviewing harness/PCBA design schematics, drawings, and bills of materials (BOMs) • Provide support to harness production and integration teams to ensure quality and reliability. • Close collaboration with product design teams to ensure documentation and products meet company and industry standards for manufacturability, assembly, testability and safety (DFX) • Capture and analyze key metrics and production data to identify trends, drive root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. • Support lead continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other methodologies. • Work with Project Management and Production planning teams to coordinate NPI and process validation activity throughput. • Select and manage vendors to support manufacturing equipment and materials. • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. • Train operators and technicians on new processes and equipment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. • 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing or mechanical engineering role. • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal, welding; as well as assembly methods. • Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) and product lifecycle management (PLM/PDM) systems. • Familiarity with quality systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and statistical process control (SPC). • Strong sense of accountability, excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma certifications (Green Belt/Black Belt). • Hands-on experience with electronic and packaging design and principles • Experience with Additive manufacturing processes, materials and equipment • Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (Epicor, SAP, Oracle, etc.). ENVIRONMENT: • Indoors/Engineering Labs/Manufacturing Floor PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time. • Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when working on the manufacturing floor including, but not limited to, eye, ear and foot protection. • Ability to handle and lift objects weighing at least 25 lbs.

As a Skilled And Experienced Mechanical Fitter You Will • Work on both new and second hand plant to assemble, install, service and maintain machinery, equipment and parts; • Analyse and interpret blueprints for mechanical systems to determine the specifications for plant and equipment; • Conduct diagnostic testing on malfunctioning plant and machinery to determine the root cause of the malfunction and replace or repair damaged or defective structural components as needed; • Conduct planned and unplanned work order scheduling of preventative maintenance and seasonal servicing of plant and equipment.
