Mechanical Foreman

Conewago is currently accepting applications for an experienced Mechanical Foreman with at least 5 years' of hands-on experience in the field. Applicant should have working knowledge with installation, replacement and repair of a wide variety of equipment primarily associated with water and wastewater treatment facilities. Our projects are both new construction and existing rehabilitation projects requiring at times cleaning of the system to do scheduled maintenance. To be successful in this role, we are looking for an applicant that is both a self-starter and self-sufficient and is able to trouble shoot problems onsite. While Conewago strives to balance workload requirements, this role will see some overtime and off shift hours for shut downs and other scheduled activities as required. The Mechanical Foreman must have working knowledge of the following : • Rigging and setting process equipment. • Flange pipe installation. • PVC pipe installation. • Pipe Layout • Oversee equipment startups • Understanding of environmental pump packages and other associated environmental equipment installations. • Understanding of electricity and how it affects the environmental equipment installations for reasonable trouble shooting. • A critical thinking & creative mindset to help layout and install environmental equipment packages & associated piping. • Critical Path scheduling. Electrical Mechanical Maintenance - Weekend Night

This role has a required shift of Thursday - Saturday 5:40PM- 5:50AM. Senior Mechanical Engineer

Senior Mechanical Engineer We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the development and management of mechanical engineering design initiatives. This role will report directly to the site President and will be responsible for ensuring high-quality, efficient, and innovative engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in mechanical design, a strong problem-solving mindset, and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver exceptional results. Responsibilities • Develop and approve conceptual designs, detailed assemblies, and general arrangement 2D drawings and 3D models for fabrication. • Verify design and detail drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications. • Maintain project schedules by monitoring progress, coordinating activities, and resolving manufacturing or design issues. • Lead design reviews and champion innovative solutions and new ideas. • Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies for product development and improvement based on customer feedback and vendor input. • Collaborate closely with customers to ensure satisfaction from initial sale through product delivery. • Provide technical support and troubleshooting via phone, remote access, or onsite customer visits.
