Mechanical Designer for Commercial and Industrial HVAC/R will be responsible to design mechanical services projects directly or with coordinated efforts of superior, peer and subordinate personnel using programs including AUTOCAD and Revit. Educational and experience requirements include 4-year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or combinations of technical training and/or experience. Should have working knowledge of AUTOCAD. Prefer but do not require experience with Revit. Knowledge of plumbing and heating/ventilation/air conditioning a must. Mechanical Engineer

The Mechanical Project Engineer will be primarily responsible for the implementation and installation of capital equipment and facilities to include ownership of all phases of a project from initiation and planning through installation, commissioning, and closeout. This position will provide engineering expertise to assist Maintenance, Production/Operations, EH&S, and management personnel in identifying and solving technical process issues. A proficient level of understanding of mechanical engineering principles are to be applied to assigned project work. Individual is to be provided with moderate task definition, supervision, and technical/process-related advice throughout the execution of assignments. Typically, some but minimal overall project responsibility will be delegated by this individual to others. Essential Duties • Recommend, specify, and procure facilities and manufacturing process equipment that match project application requirements and business needs. • Capital project management that includes scope development, funding requests, budget tracking, schedule tracking, project execution, and general project documentation • Coordinate day-to-day activities of contractors and plant maintenance personnel during project execution. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing process equipment and systems. • Provide training and technical assistance to plant-level Maintenance, Production/Operations, EH&S, and management personnel to ensure all project goals are successfully attained. Working Conditions The basic work environment is within a manufacturing facility with an average of 3-4 weeks of travel per year (although more travel may be required on occasion). The atmosphere is relatively fast paced and occasionally becomes stressful. The environment demands that multiple projects be worked on at the same time. Work Environment: • 90% % office – project development, monthly reports, projects updates, team meetings/calls • 10% % travel – project support, equipment installation, commissioning, startups, vendor visits Time Worked: • Hours Worked: Normally 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. | 40 hours/week; Situations will require additional hours worked per day and /or alternate shifts worked (equipment breakdowns, process issues/troubleshooting, equipment commissioning/startups, etc.). • Days of Week Worked: Monday through Friday; Saturday/Sunday work to support production needs occurs occasionally. • On Call – this position requires that the person be reachable by phone to assist with problems should they arise. Minimum Requirements Education: • BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline Experience: • Minimum of five years industrial/manufacturing experience in a mechanical engineering capacity.

Project Development Coordinator will be responsible to prepare complete mechanical services estimates for assigned project(s) directly or with coordinated efforts of superior, peer and subordinate personnel. Essential job functions include (but are not limited to): • Reviewing and incorporating historical data from purchase orders, subcontracts, productivity analysis reports, etc., into unit and hanhour figures. • Review of proposal specifications, drawings, attend pre-bid meetings, etc., to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate • Prepare estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work • Coordinate total estimating effort relevant to particular bid/project, as assigned. • Follow awarded contracts as assigned. May include estimating/pricing extra work items, change orders, credits, procuring materials, etc. Qualifications include: • 4-year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or experience. • Working knowledge of CAD • Revit experience preferred but not required. • Should possess at least 2 years estimating, cost control and/or engineering experience related to similar facility construction. • Knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control, plus ability to interpret computerized cost data and systems essential. • Thorough knowledge of plumbing and heating/ventilation/air conditioning a must. Mast License a plus. • Familiarity with basic computer/PC programs. Estimating software knowledge desirable. • Willingness to receive continued training in technologically advanced estimating disciplines in required.
