The qualified candidate must have a strong work ethic and have the following qualifications: • Must have at least 2 years prior experience as a Project Manager for a HVAC company or Mechanical Contractor. • Must be well versed in using Excel, Microsoft Word • Would Be Required To Assist In Upfront Administrative Paperwork, Creating Schedules • Would Need To Perform Job Site Visits Frequently Future advancement opportunities will be available for the right individual. A Custom Product Engineer develops unique custom products to meet business objectives and engineer world class products that deliver exceptional value to both customers and the children who use the products. This work entails all steps of the engineering process from initial concept to production including concept and detailed engineering, support of manufacturing, creation of engineering support documentation (i.e., specifications, assembly instructions, etc.) while utilizing SolidWorks to prepare models, drawings, instructions, and other documentation as needed to support Custom Product Development initiatives. Meetings with other departments (Sales, Finance, Engineering, Production, Marketing and Legal) are required to obtain consensus on projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Develop high quality, innovative playground and park products from conceptual design to production using SolidWorks as the main engineering CAD tool. • Engineer custom products after conceptual design through production as part of a cross-functional Custom Product Development Team (made up of Custom Product Engineer, draftsperson, and other personnel as needed). • Estimate manufacturing costs for custom products. • Supports overall business goals within Custom Product Engineering. • Prepare and present concepts to the appropriate approval teams • Report writing and record keeping as required by ISO procedures, legal department, and Project Management. • Maintains accurate document filing system including EPDM vault, printed documents, drawings, and electronic files). • Addresses design related customer concerns. • Routine clerical work including interdepartmental calls, coordinates outside services as needed. • Must take ownership of the assigned tasks and complete them in an expedient and professional manner. • Traveling, as needed, for installation troubleshooting, trade shows, conferences, etc. QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. • Preferably 2-5 years in Product Development Engineering. • Proficient use of SolidWorks to prepare models, drawings, instructions, and other documentation as needed to support Custom Product Development. • Prefer experience in steel fabrication and weldment design. • Demonstrated ability to engineer steel and plastic for complex systems. • Knowledge of international safety standards for playground equipment is an asset. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to read, write, and speak English. • Demonstrated strong conceptual skills and problem-solving skills. • Demonstrated project management skills, proven ability to manage projects to timely completion. • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. • Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite and Smartsheet. • Excellent attendance record. Compensation: Compensation for this position will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications, aligning with industry standards. The hourly/salary range for Lewisburg, PA, is also based upon geographical market standards for the industry and position in those areas. There is a possibility of a bonus(es) based on individual performance and merit to be paid at the sole discretion of the company, but bonus(es) are not guaranteed unless outlined in writing in the offer letter extended to the candidate selected for the position.
