Objective is to support and maintain smooth production operations and the safety for all personnel. The work schedule is 5 days/week including weekend work. Sat/Sun is part of the schedule. Duties/Responsibilities: • Properly troubleshoot and repair all equipment associated in the production, cooling, freezing and packaging, including, but not limited to mixers, dividers, retarders, coolers, freezers, conveyors, metal detectors, box erectors and bagging systems, etc. in a timely manner with minimal supervision. • Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment according to assignment and schedule. • Perform general maintenance duties as it relates to plant equipment and building. • Properly perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding and plumbing duties as required. • Rebuild/replace equipment as needed, including but not limited to pumps, gear boxes, bearings, bushings, chains, conveyors, etc. • Ability to work overtime, including weekends, holidays and emergencies, as needed. Requirements: • Able to use basic hand tools and power tools. • Able to read blue prints and do layout work/sketches. • Basic knowledge of gas, gas tungsten (TIG), gas metal (MIG) and arc welding. Also able to use plasma cutter. • Timely analysis and repair of all breakdowns in plants using basic troubleshooting skills. • Fabrication experience a must. • Able to troubleshoot and wire a 3-phase motor.
