Mechanical Technician

• *Job Summary:** As a Mechanical Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) operations by performing various technical tasks and ensuring the smooth functioning of equipment and processes. Maintenance Project Engineer

Become a part of the “strength within.” Hexcel is currently seeking a Maintenance Project Engineer for our Pottsville, PA, USA location. The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations: • Manage CAPEX projects, which include but not limited to writing, justification, project management and execution. Will Manage the onsite contractors to ensure CAPEX projects are completed safely and on-time. • Coordinate and manage equipment and process development to meet current and future plant requirements. Define and implement the next generation of controls and equipment for the key manufacturing processes. • Develop future site layouts, expansion, and equipment needed to support business growth. • Lead and implement Management of Change (MOC) review projects as required. • Manage Future factory initiatives including researching new technology for key plant processes and equipment, creating business cases and implementing new technology. • In collaboration with EHS, support the Environmental compliance and HAZMAT program at the Pottsville facility. • May lead the maintenance technical team to ensure support of all equipment. • Ensure compliance to all regulations, including but not limited to OSHA, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), National Electrical Code (NEC), and Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). • Effective and efficient management of facilities, machinery and equipment to support customer requirements. • Provide guidance to maintenance supervisor and maintenance mechanics to insure safe, efficient, performance of work. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in industrial or mechanical engineering or a related technical degree is required. • At least 3 years experience managing capital projects, equipment installation, and trouble shooting in a manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Experience with supporting equipment maintenance and process improvements within a manufacturing environment required. • Ability to analyze and resolve process and equipment issues. • Experience using AutoCAD, required. • Experience using 3D modeling software Solidworks or CATIA, preferred. • Strong leadership skills and has the ability to influence and work with all levels of the organization. • Excellent written, verbal communication, trouble shooting, and interpersonal skills. • Competent in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Visio, MS Project and similar project training software, and power point.
