Job DescriptionAs a Mechanical Technician - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in supporting the operations of our Energy & Sustainability Solutions (ESS) business unit. You will be responsible for performing mechanical maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of production equipment and systems. Your expertise in mechanical systems and troubleshooting will be essential in minimizing downtime and maximizing operational efficiency. You will report directly to our Supervisor of ISC and you'll work out of our Pottsville, PA location. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and productivity of our manufacturing processes, contributing to the overall success of the ESS SBG.Shift Hours: Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 11:00pm with rotational coverage every 5th weekend. Overtime hours are availableKEY RESPONSIBILITIES Have good knowledge of requirements for each line when it comes to tear down and building the line back up. Perform prescribed preventive maintenance of mechanical equipment. Perform disassembly, overhaul and reassembly of plastics processing equipment. Assist in identifying, investigating and recommending solutions for repeat equipment failures. Continuously improve technical skills through formal, informal and hands-on training. Actively participate in driving improved safety, productivity and equipment reliability. Ensure all required parts, including hardware and electrical components, are ready and available. Work overtime as needed to meet the production areas schedules.
