MECHANICAL HYDRAULICS ENGINEER

Employer is looking for an enthusiastic self-starter who drives projects to completion. Candidate will be responsible for the design of hydraulic systems for asphalt paving and road construction machines to include engineering design, documentation, testing, and technical support using CREO software. Additional duties include supporting manufacturing engineers with hardware installations, machine and component level testing and troubleshooting. We are looking for people with excellent communication skills that can effectively work with a team of engineers with desire and ability to help other functional areas when required. EXPERIENCE: • Heavy-duty hydraulic system integration and other test instruments • Working in an industrial environment. • Must have the willingness to work with manufacturing personnel to troubleshoot hydraulic systems. • Mechanical systems with ability to remove and replace components on a machine. • Designing hydraulic schematics and creating supplier drawings. • Selecting hydraulic components. • Prototype designs and working with the supplier(s) to optimize design for cost and quality. • Excellent communication skills • Fluent in English QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering technology. • 3 years minimum experience. • Extensive knowledge of CREO modeling software.
