About the position Responsibilities • Perform inspections on mechanical components and products to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards. • Use precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to measure dimensions and tolerances. • Conduct tests to evaluate product performance, durability, and safety. • Record and document inspection results, including measurements, test results, and any detected defects or issues. • Maintain detailed records of all quality control activities. • Prepare quality reports for management and engineering teams. • Identify and analyze defects in products, and work with engineers or production teams to address and resolve issues. • Recommend corrective actions to improve product quality. • Ensure compliance with internal quality assurance protocols and external standards, such as ISO or other industry-specific regulations. • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control processes and procedures. • Work closely with engineers, production teams, and management to address quality issues and improve processes. • Provide input on product design improvements from a quality perspective. • Ensure that all testing and inspection equipment is properly calibrated and maintained. • Schedule and perform equipment maintenance as necessary. Requirements • 3 years of experience in a mechanical quality technician role or similar position. • Experience with inspection and testing of mechanical components. • Familiarity with precision measuring tools and quality assurance protocols. Nice-to-haves • Experience with ISO standards and quality control processes. • Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
