Mechanical Assembler

Summary: Crispin Valve, a trusted manufacturer of high-performance valves for the water and wastewater industries, is seeking a dependable and skilled Valve Assembler to join our production team. This role focuses on assembling large-diameter butterfly, gate, and check valves (24” and larger) to AWWA standards, with occasional work on smaller valves as needed. Responsibilities: · Assemble large industrial valves (24” to 72”+) for municipal and waterworks projects. · Follow mechanical drawings, bills of material (BOMs), and detailed work instructions. · Install valve components such as discs, shafts, bearings, seals, and gearing mechanisms. · Conduct hydrostatic and air pressure testing to AWWA standards (C504, C509, C508, etc.). · Use precision tools to verify torque, fitment, and component alignment. · Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other rigging equipment to safely move heavy parts. · Complete quality documentation and collaborate with QC and engineering on any nonconformances. · Occasionally assist in the assembly of smaller valve lines including air release valves. · Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in line with company procedures. • Any other jobs assigned Preferred Experience: · 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience (valve, pump, or industrial equipment preferred) · Good mechanical aptitude, with the ability to read mechanical drawings and use measurement tools (torque wrenches, calipers, indicators). · Comfort working with large parts and using lifting/rigging equipment (forklift/crane certification a plus). · Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness · High school diploma or GED required; trade/technical school is a plus. · Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand or kneel for extended periods. MEP Engineer

Join Our Team MEP Engineer iBUILT is currently accepting applications for an MEP Engineer to work as an integral part of our Design and Engineering team in Berwick, PA or New York, NY offices. We are looking for an MEP Engineer to be part of our in-house team to develop mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC designs and contribute to the engineering of volumetric steel modular residential, commercial, multi-family, hospitality and industrial buildings, both in traditional construction modalities, as well as through new innovative modes and methods using new materials and technologies to create better, stronger, lighter, more-sustainable, water and mold resistant, energy efficient buildings. You will work collaboratively with our outstanding team of dedicated creative teammates, including architects, fabricators, contractors, and other engineers, in the development of new company standards. The successful candidate will be required to have a PE accreditation and will sign/seal project documents as required. Responsibilities will include preforming MEP engineering calculations and performance simulations including sizing, selecting, and specifying Structural components and systems and ensure designs are compliant with the company’s principles of design for manufacturing, assembly, and systems integration; preparing drawings; developing and monitoring proposals; scopes and budgets. This position requires proficiency in the use of AutoCAD, Revit, as well as alternative MEP based design software.
