The Quality Inspector plays a key role in ensuring the precision and reliability of products that support critical customer applications. The Quality Inspector – Mechanical is responsible for performing in-process and final inspections of mechanical parts and systems to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards. This role involves the use of precision measuring tools, interpreting technical documentation, and supporting continuous improvement efforts through data collection and communication with cross-functional teams. Job Responsibilities • Performs inspections of machined parts to ensure compliance with design specifications, using precision measuring instruments. • Feedback information to assemblers and supervisors to ensure corrective and preventive action is taken where required. • Monitoring, collection, and analysis of non-conforming product data. • Contribute to other quality improvement activities under the supervision of management (e.g. process improvement, problem investigation, etc.). • Clarification of documentation with engineering and/or customer. • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wirelists. • Other duties as assigned. Qualification Requirements • 2+ years of relevant experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience • GD&T Certified preferred • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. • Due to federal contract requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. §1324b(a)(3). Skill Requirements • High attention to detail. • Strong interpersonal skills. • Able to prioritize and manage work effectively in a dynamic environment. • Ability to work on assignments that lack detailed instructions. • Ability to read engineering prints. • Experience in the use of computers. • Familiarity with various measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, multimeters, frequency counters, and FARO. Physical Requirements • Must have the ability to lift and/or carry 45 lbs. • Ability to work for extended periods at computer workstation/keyboard. • Ability to type accurately and efficiently. • The position will require walking, standing, squatting, crouching, stooping, lifting, climbing, pulling, pushing, sitting, repetitive motion and kneeling. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Architectural or Chemical Engineering, or Engineering Technology, or a related discipline. Certification as an Engineer in Training (EIT) or passing the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam in jurisdictions where EIT is unavailable (must be completed within 18 months of hire, promotion, or transfer). • 5 years of relevant experience. • Equivalent additional directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. • Domestic and/or international travel may be necessary, depending on specific responsibilities and project demands. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience working on large, complex projects in a multi-disciplinary environment. • Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers. • Prior experience utilizing Autodesk Revit for creating detailed mechanical drawings. • Knowledge of building codes, ASHRAE standards, and sustainable design practices. • Experience in high-performance building design targeting energy, water, and carbon reduction. Mechanical Maintenance Technician

In this role, you'll help keep our facility running by installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, and building structures. We provide training to help you continue developing your skills and grow within the maintenance team. All work is done with safety as the top priority, following company standards and regulatory guidelines. What You'll Do • Support the maintenance team by completing basic preventative maintenance and minor repairs on facility equipment, building systems, and exterior grounds (with guidance and supervision). • At automated sites, assist with maintaining and testing components such as proximity switches, photoelectric sensors, pressure switches, and push buttons. • Help with routine inspections of refrigeration systems under supervision. • Perform preventative maintenance on material handling equipment following manufacturer and company guidelines. • Take on additional tasks as needed to support the team. Additional Ways You'll Contribute • Safely operate tools, welding equipment, and lifts as required. • Use onsite motorized and rental equipment while inspecting, calibrating, and maintaining systems. What We're Looking For • Some training or experience in building maintenance, material handling equipment, or refrigeration (ammonia, Freon, and/or CO) is preferred but not required. • Comfortable using power and hand tools. • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new systems. • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. • Ability to handle multiple tasks and pay close attention to detail. • Physically able to lift 50 lbs. (or more depending on the facility). • Willing to work in a variety of environments-from cold storage (-20F/-25C) to dry storage (up to 100F/37C)-with company-provided protective gear. • Flexible with scheduling, including weekends if needed. • Comfortable working in areas that may be loud or at heights, depending on the location.
