The Quality Inspector plays a key role in ensuring the precision and reliability of products that support critical customer applications. The Quality Inspector – Mechanical is responsible for performing in-process and final inspections of mechanical parts and systems to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards. This role involves the use of precision measuring tools, interpreting technical documentation, and supporting continuous improvement efforts through data collection and communication with cross-functional teams. Job Responsibilities • Performs inspections of machined parts to ensure compliance with design specifications, using precision measuring instruments. • Feedback information to assemblers and supervisors to ensure corrective and preventive action is taken where required. • Monitoring, collection, and analysis of non-conforming product data. • Contribute to other quality improvement activities under the supervision of management (e.g. process improvement, problem investigation, etc.). • Clarification of documentation with engineering and/or customer. • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wirelists. • Other duties as assigned. Qualification Requirements • 2+ years of relevant experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience • GD&T Certified preferred • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. • Due to federal contract requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. §1324b(a)(3).
