Our Virtual Design and Construction Department manages a diverse range of challenging civil design projects. We are searching for exceptional candidates with a mix of creative and technical expertise. The individual in this role will utilize CADD software, specifically Civil 3D, to create intricate construction drawings, topographical profiles, maps, and other necessary documents for the planning and constructing Banner projects. Fieldwork will also be a component of this position, including surveying and construction oversight. Strong communication abilities are essential to effectively handle inquiries from clients, staff, and the public and occasionally assist in training new employees and interns. Requirements • 5 plus years of experience or more is required. • Associate of Science degree or equivalent from an accredited two-year college or technical school with a degree in Civil Engineering Technology / Architectural Drafting Design. Equivalent combinations of education, experience, and training may be considered. • Understanding of Design Flow: Conceptual Design – Design Development – Construction Documents – Bidding – Construction Administration. • Proficient with CADD Software, especially Civil 3D. • Solid understanding of Construction. • Work within a Team environment. • Good communication skills (verbal and written). • Valid driver’s license. • Ability to perform physically demanding field work (traverse long distances, pound stakes, etc.).
