Responsibilities: • Assist with creation and development of detailed mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system designs for a wide variety of projects. • Become familiar with relevant codes and standards and apply them to design. • Assist with production of construction documents. • Generate and maintain clear documentation throughout the project process. • Collaborate in a team environment as well as self-manage and self-motivate. • Use good written and verbal communication skills coupled with strong organizational skills to complete projects. • Manage time and workload to meet project task deadlines and commitments within your projects’ budgets and schedules. • Report to intermediate and senior-level coworkers regularly. • Travel occasionally to support project tasks. • Take field measurements and assist with field site inspections. Qualifications: • 0-2+ years of work experience developing engineering drawings. • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution. • Completion, or on track to completing, the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam. • Familiarity with Revit is preferred. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to organize, prioritize, and perform work assignments with minimal supervision. • Salary Range: $24.00 /hr to $37.00 /hr NOTE: This is a full-time position. Manufacturing Engineer

Description: The Manufacturing Engineer develops and implements optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods that align with product specifications and quality standards. This role recommends and drives improvements to production processes, methods, and controls, and coordinates manufacturing launches for new or revised products. Key priorities include operator safety, process improvement, problem resolution, project management, quality assurance, and employee training. Essential Functions • Research, design, and develop manufacturing processes, including production flow, assembly methods, production cell layouts, and production equipment. • Prepare and maintain detailed layouts of buildings, production areas, and equipment. • Coordinate the manufacturing launch of new or revised products, including establishing goals, training team members, perform First Article qualifications, and evaluating results. • Design, develop, test, source, and cost-justify various tools, machinery, and equipment to support recommended manufacturing methods. • Perform product and process analyses to identify opportunities for cost reduction, quality improvement, and efficiency gains. • Represent manufacturing on cross-functional teams. • Perform other related duties as assigned. Additional Responsibilities • Collaborate with suppliers to improve the quality and performance of raw materials; analyze supplier performance and provide feedback concerning non-conforming parts. • Work closely with the Tool and Die department to design and implement work-cell fixtures that maximize production quality and efficiency. • Partner with Design Engineering to optimize product designs for manufacturability. About the Opportunity Northrop Grumman is seeking a Engineer to join our manufacturing and process engineering team.
