BURLINGTON, IA | Klingner & Associates, P.C. is seeking an Entry-Level Mechanical / Electrical / Plumbing Designer.Mechanical / Electrical / Plumbing Designers are key players at Klingner, working collaboratively to find innovative and practical solutions. Responsibilities • Assist with creation and development of detailed mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system designs for a wide variety of projects. • Become familiar with relevant codes and standards and apply them to design. • Assist with production of construction documents. • Generate and maintain clear documentation throughout the project process. • Collaborate in a team environment as well as self-manage and self-motivate. • Use good written and verbal communication skills coupled with strong organizational skills to complete projects. • Manage time and workload to meet project task deadlines and commitments within your projects’ budgets and schedules. • Report to intermediate and senior-level coworkers regularly. • Travel occasionally to support project tasks. • Take field measurements and assist with field site inspections. NOTE: This is a full-time position. Qualifications • 0-2+ years of work experience developing engineering drawings. • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution. • Completion, or on track to completing, the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam. • Familiarity with Revit is preferred. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to organize, prioritize, and perform work assignments with minimal supervision. Mechanic/Machine Repairer

```Overview``` We are seeking a skilled Repair Technician to join our team. As a Repair Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various types of equipment and machinery. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. If you have a passion for fixing things and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. ```Responsibilities``` - Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to identify equipment malfunctions - Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools and power tools - Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance - Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex issues - Keep accurate records of repairs, parts used, and labor hours - Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area The machine repairer/mechanic is responsible for the working side by side with engineers, technicians, operators, team leaders, electrician/millwrights, toolmakers and others to complete all the work necessary to repair plant machinery and equipment. The machine repairer/mechanic will diagnose, repair, adjust, disassemble, assemble, replace parts as necessary on machines and equipment to meet production and customer delivery requirements. Some specific duties/responsibilities to include but not limited to: • Bring mechanical, hydraulic and other equipment to proper operating condition. • Properly select required material and parts. • Work with, read & understand blueprints, drawings and or sketches • Access materials using electronic means such as via computer, websites, iPad/tablets or other means. • Use various hand tools and precision measuring instruments. • Properly diagnose mechanical and hydraulic issues • Repair and overhaul machines. • Repair, rebuild and install plating line product barrels. • Align spindles and shafts; replace belts and pulleys; install hydraulic motors and pumps; fit bearings; repair and adjust clutches and cylinders and change feed and speed control gears. • Read technical manuals to understand equipment and controls. • Disassemble and reassemble machinery and equipment when there is a problem. • Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components. • Perform tests and run initial batches to make sure that the machine is running smoothly. • Detect minor problems by performing diagnostic tests. • Test malfunctioning machinery to determine whether major repairs are needed. • Adjust and calibrate equipment and machinery to optimal specifications. • Clean and lubricate equipment or machinery. • Move machinery and equipment. • Understand the function and operation of tool room machines and work with tool makers to determine proper work process if necessary. • Weld • Perform other duties as required. ```Skills``` To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills: - Strong technical knowledge of equipment repair and maintenance - Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics - Excellent problem-solving skills - Attention to detail and accuracy in diagnosing issues - Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Repair Technician to join our team.
