Mechanical Leadman

JOB SUMMARY The mechanical leadman will directly supervise and coordinate activities of construction or extraction workers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Sees that the crew follows all the required construction methods • Checks that the project is proceeding according to the construction plans, and that each job is done in the proper sequence • Helps with any necessary technical training or re-training of crew members • Understands the safety procedures and keeps the crew following the rules • Helps keep the work environment safe • Oversees the various aspects of the project • Participates in training programs, sometimes running them • Handles the site foreman’s duties in his absence • Handles paperwork • Perform daily maintenance and safety checks • Ensure compliance of all safety procedures and policies while promoting company’s safety culture • Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS • High School Diploma or GED required • At least 3 years’ experience as a Labor Foreman SKILLS / KEY COMPETENCIES • Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in construction • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Exercise discretion and independent judgement when handling day to day information • Excellent time-management skills to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks and responsibilities to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities • Ability to work cooperatively across all levels delivering on commitments – results oriented • Ability to complete work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail • Ability to work under pressure to meet department targets and deadlines • Ability to work non-routine hours, when necessary • Ability and willingness to travel as required PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Ability to work outdoors, exposed to heat and humidity, cold and rain, and around heavy traffic areas • Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another • Ability to operate job related tools • Constantly perform repeating motions that may include feet, leg, wrists, hands and/or fingers • Work that includes moving and/or lifting objects up to 50 pounds, carry at least 30 pounds and up to 150 pounds with help Bay Ltd. is an Equal Opportunity Employer

Jr. Mechanical Desiger

Job Summary: We are seeking a Junior Mechanical Designer with 3+ years of experience in mechanical and/or electrical drafting and design. The candidate will support our engineering team by producing high-quality construction documents for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across a variety of projects, including industrial facilities, municipal buildings, educational institutions, and commercial developments. Responsibilities: • Convert sketches and markups into detailed AutoCAD/Revit/BIM drawings. • Read and interpret architectural and engineering plans. • Prepare accurate, detailed, and to-scale drawings. • Collaborate with engineers and other designers on multidisciplinary projects. • Maintain documentation and project records. • Work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. • Perform other duties as assigned.
