Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Overview We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and have experience in industrial maintenance. This role requires proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various systems and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met. Position will start on days Monday through Friday 8 hours per day, until individual is ready to move to shift work. Shifts are 7 to 7, rotating every two weeks from days to nights. Shifts work 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, then 3 days off before changing from days to nights or nights to days. Responsibilities • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and machinery. • Must be versatile and flexible to work conditions and shift to support routine/non-routine and scheduled outages. • Interface with plant engineers and management on shutdowns and special projects. • Understand and follow written and verbal instructions and procedures that may be given by management. • Must be able to lift a minimum of Fifty (50) pounds and push-pull one hundred (100) pounds. • Must have a working knowledge of hand and specialty tools. • Must have a working knowledge and be able to follow technical manuals and system drawings. • Must have a good working knowledge of and be able to repair and troubleshoot facility equipment within the chemical process area and outlying supporting departments including material loading, warehouse and utility (boiler, compressor & chillers) to ensure plant reliability. • Must have a working knowledge of painting and how to paint different type of materials. • Must not be afraid of heights. • Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights • Maintain plant equipment. This will include repair of equipment and facility materials. • Operate scissor lifts and other equipment safely to perform maintenance tasks. • Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy in repairs and installations. • Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot effectively. • Collaborate with technical sales teams to provide insights on equipment performance and customer service needs. • Maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. • Adhere to all safety guidelines, rules and regulations set forth by the company. • Follow Plant and Personal Safety Programs and Safe Work Practices. • Follow all applicable Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Food Safety Guidelines and MMT Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) set forth by the company. • Must be reliable and dependable, and maintain professionalism with others. Experience • Proven industrial mechanic experience within a manufacturing environment is essential. • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance practices. • Familiarity with troubleshooting pumps, fans, blowers, rotary valves, assembly of heat exchangers, plates, brake lines right and assembly flanges. • Excellent analysis skills with the ability to assess problems quickly and implement effective solutions. • Experience with computers and tablets necessary. • Minimum 2-4 years experience in heavy industry plant operations and maintenance. • Additional experience considered a plus: pipe fitting, welding or millwright. • Must not be afraid of Confined Spaces and must be able to work in Confined Spaces. • Must be able to operate a manlift, forklift, LULL and Scissor lift Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00 - $31.80 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Employee assistance program • Flexible spending account • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Work Location: In person

2nd Shift - Mechanical Electrical Technician

Hourly Pay Rate: $26.45 Shift hours: 5:25 pm-6:00 am • Benefits available on Day 1 • On-the-job training PRIMARY FUNCTION: Primarily responsible for assisting in the maintenance and repair of various mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and conveying systems/types of industrial equipment for the poultry processing plant. Perform preventative and predictive maintenance using blueprints and diagrams to verify that all equipment is operating within required specifications and tolerances. May perform periodic testing and inspections, troubleshooting and repairs. Performs all work in compliance with company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations. RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: • Under general supervision, repair and perform preventative maintenance on industrial machinery (i.e. mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, conveying systems, etc) using blueprint and schematic drawings to ensure equipment is performing safely to required specifications • Identify root cause of basic mechanical issues and performs repairs by welding, fabricating parts, basic pipefitting or replacing defective component; notify appropriate personnel if further attention is required • Identify unsafe conditions and corrects; reports to appropriate personnel if unable to correct on own • Assist with maintaining a file of blueprints and operating manuals and procedures as needed • Work in compliance with all company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations • All other duties as assigned EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS: • High School Diploma or equivalent • Pass NOCTI Mechanical/Electrical test, Level 1 required EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: • Minimum 1 year experience in industrial machine predictive and preventative maintenance or demonstrated applicable mechanical and electrical knowledge • Intermediate math and computer skills • Ability to operate/use basic hand and power tools • Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate • Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours • Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character SAFETY REQUIREMENTS: • Follow departmental and company safety policies and programs • Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times in areas where required. Mechanical Quality Inspector

M&J Precision is looking for First and Second shift Mechanical Quality Inspectors. Employee will be responsible for verifying machined and assembled hardware meet specified drawing/CAD model requirements using standard inspection measuring tools. Other duties may include performing receiving inspection and generating/reviewing manufacturing documentation. Applicant must be able to work with minimal supervision. Candidate must possess a High School diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of mechanical inspection experience. Experience with Brown and Sharpe CMM w/PC-DMIS software is a plus. Must be proficient with micrometers, height gages, gage blocks, comparators, radius gages, and calipers. Must understand GD&T and how to check Thread depth, flatness, parallelism, and various other dimensions. Candidate must be able to read and interpret drawings, 3-D solid models, and specifications and prepare handwritten or computer-generated inspection reports. Candidates with experience in inspection of complex aerospace hardware are desired. Prior experience with AS9100 quality systems is a plus.
