Description Multicraft maintenance technician working on 3rd shift (11p-7a) 50% mechanical 50% electrical troubleshooting and repairs on CNC equipment. 29 CNC mills and 4 CNC lathes. 29 Mills consist of 10 Vigels, 11 OKK's, 5 SW's and 2 Mazak. 4 Lathes consists of 2 Samsung and 2 Mori Seiki. All CNC's have automatic tooling change tough some has to be done manually depending on quality issues or customer demands. Range from 4/5 axis machines. On any given day a maintenance technician would receive an operator call or have PM assignments pertaining to troubleshooting/ repair any of the following: VFD's, relays, Cognex vision system, proximity switches, limit switches, sensors, contactors, hydraulics, pneumatics, some fabrication if needed, minor MIG welding if needed, facility lighting, exhaust fans, compressors, AC/DC, 3 phase, up to 480v. Controls consist of Fanuc, Siemens (Step 7), Allen Bradley or Mitsubishi. Robots are all Fanuc R-2000ia- the extent of the troubleshooting is the ability to rehome and set teach pins.
