Job Title: Maintenance Technician - Mechanical Location: Shelbyville, Tennessee Overview of Role: The Maintenance Technician - Mechanical performs maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and systems used in production. This role ensures that all machinery operates safely and efficiently to meet production targets. Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Senior Manufacturing Engineer Primary Responsibilities: • Facilitate the planning and coordination of manufacturing processes, collaborating closely with vendors, customer and personnel. • Support the corporate team in new product and process development. Collaborate during various phases of equipment development, including method planning, quotation, kick-off, development, changes, approval, relocation, and installation of new equipment. • Adhere to Company Standards, best practices, and Health and Safety requirements when implementing new equipment. • Leverage the experience and expertise of cross-functional team members to ensure equipment meets all cost, quality, reliability, and productivity requirements. • Coordinate all equipment trial runs at vendor and in-house location. • Ensure suppliers provide all pertinent documentation, including detailed drawings, electrical schematics, and instruction manuals, and forward them to the appropriate departments. • Coordinate engineering changes by obtaining quotations from various vendors and presenting detailed summaries to team members for input and evaluation. Ensure that productive equipment is modified to meet change requirements with high quality, within budget, and on schedule. • Compile all required documentation and generate purchase requisitions for approval. Present recommendation summaries to the Engineering Manager for final approval. • Develop and update manufacturing-process documentation as: job, instructions, standard operation sheets, set up sheets, or visual AIDS. • Coordinate the start-up and testing of all new or re-commissioned equipment until approval. • Assist the PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) to ensure that new products or changes to existing products meet all necessary quality, safety, and regulatory standards before release. Obtain final approval from relevant stakeholders to help maintain high standards of quality and compliance, thereby protecting the organization's reputation and customer trust. • Support and mentor new team members, serving as a subject matter expert for the engineering group. • Contributes to a safe, clean and comfortable work environment that complements the Occupational Health and Safety Act by ensuring the principles of the 5S discipline (simplify, separate, sanitize, standardize and support) are supported and adhered to. Required Experience: • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the automotive industry, with exposure to building equipment, programmable logic control, electrical systems, and robotics. • Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and TS16949/ISO 14001 requirements. • Working knowledge of Advanced Quality Planning (AQP) processes. • Experience with 3D design, layout development, and new equipment development. • Proficient in tooling review and equipment buy-off. • Proven track record of successfully launching new programs from start to finish. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Effective problem solving and decision-making skills • Ability to handle multi-tasks and changing priorities • Works well in a team environment • Excellent analytical skills and exercises sound judgement • Intermediate computer skills, i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, • APQP, Core tools training, • Lean Manufacturing • SMED Education: • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent job related experience.

MAJOR FUNCTION: Position Overview This position consists of performing engineering activities in order to maintain plant equipment and facilities.
