Primary Responsibilities. • Coordinating mechanical design activities for a group of CAD designers and engineers in support of the TDP in a classified lab space. • Working with the TPS design agent to incorporate design changes to reduce unit issues and improve manufacturability. • Conducting classified and unclassified Internal Review Board (IRBs) and Tabletop Reviews (TTRs) with the customer at company and customer sites in Huntsville, AL. • Tracking and reporting completion status and relevant metrics, as well as proposing and incorporating improvements to the process. • Transferring classified data as an approved Data Transfer Agent (DTA). Basic Qualifications. • Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited school with 8+ years of experience (6+ years experience with a Master’s or 12+ years with HS diploma). • Active DoD Secret clearance. • Proficient in CAD software and working within PLM environments. • Understanding of applicable concepts from engineering specifications and drawing structure. • Proficiency with ASME Y14.5 GD&T methods and tolerance stack-ups on parts and assemblies, particularly profile and positional tolerancing. • Demonstrated experience leading small technical projects and teams of three or more designers/engineers. • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. • Ability to communicate directly with customers as representative of the company. • Eagerness to learn and grow within the organization. • Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Preferred Qualifications. • 3+ years prior experience creating engineering drawings using Solidworks and Windchill. • Prior work in DoD Missile, Reentry Vehicle, or Hypersonics fields. • Prior work with MIL-STD-31000 Technical Data Package creation and management. • Experience with classified document handling and transport as a courier. • Prior work within integrated teams supporting drawing modification and production activities. • Understanding of cost and schedule implications of typical engineering deliverables. Mechanical Maintenance Technician “B”

Job Description Summary The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will be a hands-on self-starter, supporting plant production process to meet all safety and operational goals. Work a rotating shift while performing day-to-day inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of plant equipment in a PSM governed plant. Job Description Essential Responsibilities • Lead by example in all GE initiatives including EHS, HR, Six Sigma, Quality, and computerized maintenance management. • Complete maintenance tasks ranging from simple to very complex on mechanical, pneumatic, and vacuum systems in a 24 hour PSM facility. • Read and interpret P&IDs, equipment manuals, procedures and other specifications to determine the repair method on failed components. • Ability to perform mechanical maintenance in the installation and repair of equipment following safe-work practices utilizing hand tools, specialized tools, equipment and fixtures. • Follow established procedures to execute preventative and predictive maintenance as required. • Correctly and accurately complete document all maintenance actions, parts and time. • Support daily work load and maintenance requirements based on safety, defined plans & schedules, quality and production requirements. • Team focused, steps-in and willingly assist other crafts and operations department as required to ensure equipment is ready to meet productions schedules. • Ability to demonstrate flexibility in servicing production schedule requirements which at times will result in unscheduled emergency break-in work. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS • 1-3 Years of hands-on maintenance experience as an Mechanical Maintenance technician in a PSM manufacturing environment to work as a mid level Mechanical Maintenance Technician. • Must complete NCCER Industrial Support Mechanic Certification during first 6 months. • Ability and willingness to work a rotating shift schedule. • Must qualify for and utilize specialized personal protective equipment as required for the position including arc flash, respirator, fall protection, etc. • Have good mobility, with the ability to climb stairs and ladders and occasionally required work at heights. Desired Characteristics • 5+ Years of hands-on maintenance experience as an Industrial Mechanic in a manufacturing environment. • AA/AS degree in mechanical, Electrical or industrial maintenance or completion of a craft apprenticeship, or equivalent number of years of education and industrial maintenance experience. • Strong knowledge of mechanics and the mechanical fit of components, assemblies & sub-assemblies as applied to the precision tolerance required for maintaining and / or restoring the production machines to OEM specifications • Ability to use calipers, micrometers, amp meters and gauges while performing maintenance on plant equipment. • Vacuum pump, fiber winding and chemical plant experience • Takes initiative to meet target schedules, actively and continuously working to improve processes and procedures. • History of working effectively with co-workers, leaders, and other employees.
