Entry Level Controls Engineer

Job Title: Entry Level Controls Engineer Job Description We are seeking a Controls Engineer to support various projects ranging from small studies to multi-million dollar turn-key supply. The ideal candidate will be team-oriented, organized, and capable of effective communication across all levels of the organization, thriving in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines. Responsibilities • Develop electrical specifications for part and equipment selection, comprising 50-60% of the role. • Engage in PLC programming, primarily Allen Bradley PLCs, making up 40-50% of the role. • Collaborate with teams to ensure project objectives are met. • Travel to customer sites for meetings, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting, accounting for over 30% of the role. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer Science, or Mechatronics Engineering. • Proficiency in PLC programming, including Allen Bradley PLCs is preferred. • Experience with HMI programming and FactoryTalk. • US Citizenship is required. • Preferred internship experience in Controls or Electrical Engineering, with coding experience using Rockwell or other PLCs. • Familiarity with industrial control systems, instrumentation controls, and automation. • Knowledge in electronics, instrumentation, control and data acquisition systems. • Knowledge of variable frequency drive systems, motion control systems, sensors and transmitters, actuators, PID control, and communication networks. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Manchester, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $83000.00/yr. Manufacturing Engineer

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our team and support manufacturing operations by driving efficiency, improving processes, and ensuring product quality. The Process Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, implement solutions, and support continuous improvement initiatives across production lines. Key Responsibilities: • Analyze, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve safety, efficiency, and quality. • Implement and maintain process control systems, work instructions, and documentation in compliance with industry standards. • Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies. • Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and scrap. • Support new product launches, including process design, validation, and scale-up. • Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams to resolve technical issues. • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and develop corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, TS 16949, and other applicable regulatory/quality standards. • Provide training and mentorship to operators and technicians on new or revised processes. Job Duties This position provides the following engineering services: • Develop, document, and complete maintenance procedures, mechanical systems operating procedures, sequence of operations, advanced troubleshooting, system optimization, and energy conservation • Update and maintain system documentation for systems of responsibility • Analyze spare parts inventories, determine and track needs, and provide organization of spares • Determine and develop processes for taking parts out of service that are past their life or out of tolerance in the Module Refurbishment Shop and on other high use rebuildable equipment • Determine accuracy of drawings, field revisions, NORs, and sketches and work with Branch designer/drafter to correct • Evaluate spare parts storage, heater module refurbishment processes, and factors contributing to contamination of heater components • Evaluate equipment in the field for improvement, determine deficiencies, improve reliability for increase testing throughput • Work with reliability engineers to develop maintenance schedules based on condition and health of equipment and ensure supply of materials required to maintain equipment is available when needed to prevent equipment failures • Perform root cause failure analyses and other equipment performance analyses when systems or processes fail and recommend remedial actions • Conduct and write up system safety hazard analyses and write clear work instructions • Responsible for safe operations and maintenance of associated support infrastructure and test facilities • Respond when systems malfunction during a test as needed, troubleshooting and directive corrective maintenance activities ensuring a timely return to service • Develop estimates for small improvement projects and test projects • Work with multiple organizations such as design engineering, planners, schedulers, craft supervisors, fabrication shops, DoD client, and other contractors • Assist skilled craft with troubleshooting and oversee their work; provide leadership and guidance • Communicate clearly and utilize various methods of communication • It is a condition of employment to wear company issued PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy. • Perform other related duties as required.
