Automotive Tire & Mechanical Technician

Responsibility: • Mounting, balancing, rotating, and repairing all types of tires from passenger, light trucks, large trucks to industrial. • Troubleshoot, Diagnose, and Repair Semi-Truck and Trailers to include but not limited to: Commercial Tires, HVAC, Brakes, Steering & Suspension, PM Inspections, Drive Train, and Electrical • Responsible for safe operation of company vehicles including compliance with speed and traffic regulations • Fleet inspections • Participates in training, follows safety procedures, job duties and company policies • Preferred Ability to drive a service truck (F-350) to an onsite location where customer is broken down • Load and unload stock and assist with physical inventory. • Work with tire TPMS (Tire Pressure Management System) • Participates in training, follows safety procedures, job duties and company policies. • Any other duties as assigned. Senior Mechanical Designer Engineer

Hyperion Technology Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer who will take full ownership of the mechanical design and engineering aspects for a range of machinery and tooling projects, spanning from small-scale R&D initiatives to large-scale production equipment. This role involves collaborating closely with customers to define project requirements and specifications. The engineer will work within an interdisciplinary team to deliver well-integrated, functional automation solutions. HTG builds custom sensor systems, automated machinery, testing equipment, and specialized systems for a variety of industries, including but not limited to Medical/Life Sciences, Automotive, Industrial, Military Systems, and Government Research and Development. Duties/Responsibilities: • Lead the design of custom automated machinery and tooling systems, mechanisms, and components. • Drive the continuous improvement of design processes, implementing best practices and industry standards. • Integrate both off-the-shelf and custom automation technologies, including robotics, actuation systems, sensors, vision systems, and other peripherals. • Ensure projects meet budget and timeline constraints by coordinating progress with project managers and key stakeholders. • Create detailed 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings for custom designs. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to fellow engineers, including reviewing, approving, and guiding their design work. • Offer ongoing support to the production team during the build and commissioning phases, ensuring designs are executed effectively. • When necessary, build and test prototypes to validate designs before finalization. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration of controls and software with the mechanical systems. • Manage relationships with external suppliers, coordinating procurement of components and materials. • Work directly with customers to refine project requirements and ensure alignment on design specifications. • Provide on-site support for equipment deployment and troubleshooting as required Required Experience: • 8+ years of experience designing custom automated equipment. • Proven expertise in automation and custom machine design, with a strong track record of successful project delivery. • Ability to select and specify components such as actuators, sensors, vision systems, precision motion transport systems and other automation peripherals. • Advanced proficiency with SolidWorks Software for mechanical design. • In-depth knowledge of engineering drawings, tolerances, and manufacturing specifications. • Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and Y14.5M-2009 standards. • Extensive experience with materials and fabrication techniques, including machining and welding. • Familiarity with controls and software integration concepts. • Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and automation issues. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams. • Proficient in specifying and troubleshooting pneumatic and hydraulic components. • General familiarity with automation controls - ex., PLC's, HMI's, sensor systems, machine vision, motion control and safety systems. • Expertise in designing and engineering fixtures, jigs, and other tooling. Preferred Experience: • Bachelor's or advanced degree in an engineering discipline. • 10+ years of experience in mechanical design within industrial automation or machine building environments. • Professional Engineer (PE) license • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar project management certification is preferred. • Knowledge of CE, NFPA 79, and SEMI S8 standards and compliance requirements. • Direct experience troubleshooting automated equipment and systems. Physical Requirements: • Duties are performed both indoors and outdoors. • Candidate must be able to lift 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally. • Duties will also require extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling and lifting light to moderately heavy objects. This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Vetting Risk Operations Center (VROC), handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
