Position Summary We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or engineers with up to 2 years of experience who are eager to apply their technical knowledge to improve manufacturing processes, enhance safety, and support production operations. You will work closely with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities • Assist in evaluating and improving manufacturing processes for safety, quality, and efficiency. • Support time studies, workflow analyses, and process mapping under the guidance of senior engineers. • Participate in Lean Manufacturing initiatives such as 5S and waste reduction projects. • Assist in designing and maintaining machine guarding and other safety improvements. • Learn and assist with PLC-related projects in collaboration with controls teams. • Help create and update standard work instructions and process documentation. • Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to solve basic manufacturing issues. • Support data collection and analysis for continuous improvement activities. Responsibility Areas of the Role • · Ensure health, safety, QA and environmental policies are complied with. • · Responsible for keeping updated and accurate FET, mixing sheets and paint usage files. • · Responsible for all paint line records and logs related to the paint kitchen and paint booths including monthly inventory and usage analysis. • · Participate in the project feasibility/development phase, share experience and assist in identifying possible installation issues so the team can modify plans beforehand to avoid issues during production. • · Manages Paint FWO's (trials and reporting). • · Participates in paint-related investment projects and budget expenses. • · Manages purchasing of consumables and paint line spares. • · Ensures BOM and paint usage align. • · Maintains paint booths/kitchen and equipment used during the paint process. • · Trouble shooting and root-cause analysis for paint line issues (5Ys and 8Ds). • · Responsible for all production reporting. • · Supports maintenance in their activities and validation of external cleaning operations. • · Proper tracking of mask and paint racks loops. • · Ensure paint technicians and mixers are meeting job expectations and continuously works to identify needs for training and development. • · Ensure accurate time keeping is done for direct reports. • · Completes daily check list.
