Senior Process Engineer

WHAT we need you to do: • Learn, support, develop, and optimize all wire and cable-related equipment and processes. • Continuously improve existing equipment by increasing efficiency, reducing scrap, and minimizing downtime. • Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment. • Collaborate closely with operations and maintenance teams to establish effective maintenance protocols and drive performance improvements. • Develop and implement processes and procedures for new equipment. • Enter product specifications and quality control requirements into the ERP system. • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to: • Processes (human error, procedural gaps, etc.) • Raw materials (supplier quality, contamination, etc.) • Equipment (mechanical failures, design flaws, etc.) • Optimize productivity by improving run rates, standardizing processes, reducing scrap, and maximizing material efficiency. • Design and procure tooling and equipment as needed. • Create plant layouts and equipment/tooling drawings. • Support cross-functional efforts, occasionally assisting with maintenance, operations, and engineering across other locations.
