Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionJoin our team as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support various areas of our plant, including the cold mill, hot mill, cast house, element 13, or roll shop. You will work in a heavy industrial environment, leveraging your previous experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial setting.ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative and corrective maintenance on large industrial equipment.Install and maintain equipment such as rolling mills, conveyors, CNC machines, casting equipment, and furnaces.Troubleshoot hydraulics and pneumatics systems to component level.Create and implement repair plans on-site.Ensure precision and attention to detail due to the tight tolerances of the equipment.Essential SkillsProficiency in troubleshooting pneumatics and hydraulics systems.Experience in preventive maintenance and repair.Familiarity with industrial mechanical maintenance, including conveyor maintenance, extrusion, and casting.5-10 years of experience in an industrial setting.Additional Skills & QualificationsA two-year degree is preferred but not required.Experience with aluminum extrusion processes.Why Work Here?We offer immediate access to comprehensive benefits and prioritize continued training and development for our employees. Expect high temperatures in summer and cold in winter, especially near furnaces. While most departments are non-union, one department, Element 13, is unionized. The facility spans hundreds of acres, offering the chance to focus on specific departments with dedicated managers and training programs. Jewelry and tobacco use are prohibited on-site.
