Electro Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Electro / Mechanical Maintenance Technician Job Description We have multiple Electro-Mechanical (Mult-Craft) Maintenance Technician positions available at production/manufacturing facilities in the Columbia and Blythewood areas. The positions range from $28 - $40/hr, across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. We have Direct Hire and Contract-to-Hire positions available. Responsibilities • Install and repair systems, apparatus, and components of industrial machinery. • Conduct electrical and mechanical maintenance. • Maintain and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems. • Service and repair gearboxes and variable frequency drives. • Troubleshoot and program PLCs, particularly Allen Bradley systems. • Operate and maintain Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems. Essential Skills • Proficient in PLC troubleshooting and maintenance. • Ability to read Ladder Logic to diagnose / repair PLC issues. • Skilled in electrical maintenance and industrial electrical maintenance. • Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics. • Ability to work with gearboxes, conveyors, and variable frequency drives. • Knowledgeable in HMI and Allen Bradley systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Electrical maintenance certification is desirable. • Experience in automation maintenance. • Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. Why Work Here? Learn more at www.htsu.com Key Responsibilities • Install and maintain industrial thermal processing equipment at customer facilities. • Provide emergency and scheduled repair services for production equipment. • Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and perform repairs. • Read and interpret manuals, work orders, diagrams, and pencil sketches. • Conduct preventative maintenance on various machines and facility systems. • Perform minor plumbing and welding tasks as needed. • Operate hand and power tools, meters, material handling equipment safely. • Identify faulty operations or defective materials and report issues promptly. • Maintain clean and safe work environments per company and OSHA regulations. • Travel regularly (up to 75%) for assignments across the country.
