Plans and conducts field surveys to establish grade, elevation, and level for storm, Combined Sewer Overflows, and sanitary sewers. Represents the District in meetings with regulatory agencies, contractors, consultants, government bodies, and other City Departments. Maintains and creates data and records for stormwater utility to be used in billing stormwater fees. Performs inspections on construction sites; ensures projects conform to state and local standards; monitors projects for erosion control compliance; approves erosion control plans; ensures contractors implement plans as required. Assists the District Engineer in all landfill engineering projects and related needs. Works with District sewer maintenance staff to coordinate in-house engineering and construction projects. Assesses and responds to citizen inquiries and complaints; provides information and assistance to the general public; implements appropriate corrective measures when standards are not met; directs individuals to appropriate departments or individuals as needed.
