CAD Designer (Creo)

Job Title: CAD DesignerJob DescriptionJoin a leading manufacturer and supplier of lighting products and safety systems for heavy-duty trucks, trailers, vocational and passenger vehicles, and industries such as agriculture, mining, forestry, construction, and more. As a CAD Designer/Drafter, you will contribute to the design and development of various lighting products, working with LED, fluorescent, and incandescent lamps, mirrors, power, and communication delivery systems. ResponsibilitiesFocus on existing drawing designs and edits for the product catalog.Work in Creo 7, with an upcoming migration to Creo 10.Collaborate with experienced designers, drafters, mechanical engineers, and others.Work independently while seeking support when needed.Create sketches and drawings prior to using Creo.Communicate and collaborate with the internal model shop/team.Attend design team meetings and meet project schedules.Utilize Windchill software for product lifecycle management.Essential Skills3+ years of experience in a manufacturing product design role.Proficiency in design and drafting within Creo software.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Windchill (PLM Software) is highly preferred.Experience with Creo.Knowledge of fixtures related to lighting products.Associate or Bachelor's degree.Work EnvironmentThis is a fully on-site position in an office/cubicle environment, situated within older-style but well-maintained facilities. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with overtime unlikely. The team fosters a collaborative and easy-going atmosphere, committed to achieving their goals.
