Description The Project Engineer will be part of the Kaizen group and working to implement processes at that will improve the overall efficiency of the plant. At this current time, many of the projects will be related to new product line launches. Individuals that have previous experience in that area would be ideal. Project Engineers at could handle up to 20 projects at one time (they could range from a 3 week small project, to bringing in a new production line that will take months. These Project Engineers will need to keep track of scheduling, monitor the projects as they move forward and keep teammates on task, and ensure they are progressing as they need to be to completion. In addition to the project management activities, this individual could design a part for a fixture (this would be done in Solidworks), and will also work hands on with the equipment in the facility and needs to have the ability to troubleshoot and edit PLCs. An example of this might be that there is a machine that scan and rejects parts - they need 1 part that is defected to go to one area, and the other to pass through - the machine isn't doing that correctly so they need to go in and make the edits. If they are doing any plant layout work, they would be using Autodesk software. This individual at times will also need to pull parts/drawings, and convert them from 3D to 2D. Additional Skills & Qualifications Must Haves: - Associates or Bachelor's degree in Engineering - 3+ years of experience in a Project Engineering/Management role in a manufacturing environment - Previous experience troubleshooting & editing PLCs (preferably Allen Bradley) - Previous experience working with CAD software (preferably Solidworks & Autodesk) Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $43.27/hr.
