Responsibilities - Service Technician • Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards • Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair • Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts • Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required. Notify service advisor immediately if additional work outlined is not needed or required • Notify service advisor immediately if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised • Document work performed • Road-test vehicles when required or refer to the test technician • Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins • Ensure that customer's cars are kept clean • Keep shop area neat, clean and be able to account for all dealership-owned tools at all times • Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes • Must follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor Qualifications - Service Technician • Experience as a Service Technician is required • Certified Techs are preferred, but we will train the right candidates! • Must be a team player • Resume must be uploaded • Valid driver's license and good driving record • All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA • Applicants must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screen. Plant Mechanic Series (Trainee - IV)

The purpose of this classification is to perform skilled trades work to maintain and repair equipment at Consolidated Government water utility facilities. Repairs and provides preventative maintenance on all system mechanical driven devices and equipment within the guidelines of manufacturer’s specifications, technical manuals, city and departmental policies and procedures, safety standards, and supervisory instructions. Reports to the Maintenance Group Manager or other designated person. Works with co-workers and employees to provide maintenance support. • Performs routine preventative and regularly scheduled maintenance and repairs on major industrial equipment in the field and at water utility facilities. • Provides routine technical repair services to heavy-duty equipment at water utility facilities. • Troubleshoots, monitors, inspects, maintains, repairs and reports problems for related grounds and equipment. • Follows safety procedures, utilizes safety equipment, and monitors work environment to ensure safety of employees and other individuals. • Performs general cleaning and maintenance tasks necessary to keep equipment and tools in operable condition. Education: High school diploma or GED Please note: Upon job offer, you will be required to provide proof of education. All applicants will be considered for grade 13. A higher entry level salary grade could be warranted depending on years of experience and certification. Plant Mechanic Trainee (Grade 13) Experience: Six (6) months experience in the repair and maintenance of equipment in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Certification(s): Must obtain the Plant Mechanic I Certification from the Technology Transfer Services within fifteen (15) months of entering this position. Plant Mechanic I (Grade 15) Experience: One (1) year experience in the repair and maintenance of equipment in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Certification(s): Must possess a Plant Mechanic certificate from Technology Transfer Services AND demonstrate proficiency in skills required to obtain that certificate. An employee with the years of experience that is placed in this position as the result of a placement test must obtain the required certification within nine (9) months of entering the position. Plant Mechanic II (Grade 17) Experience: Three (3) years of documented experience in the repair and maintenance of equipment in an industrial environment. Certification(s): Must possess Plant Mechanic II Certification from Technology Transfer Services or possess five (5) years of documented experience with demonstrated proficiency in the skills required to obtain the Plant Mechanic II certificate from Technology Transfer Services and ability to obtain the certification within nine (9) months of entering the position. Plant Mechanic III (Grade 16) Experience: Five (5) years of documented experience in the repair and maintenance of equipment in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Certification(s): Must possess Plant Mechanic III Certification from Technology Transfer Services OR possess eight (8) years of documented experience with demonstrated proficiency in skills required to obtain the certificate and ability to obtain certification within twelve (12) months of entering the position. Plant Mechanic IV (Grade 22) Experience: Seven (7) years of documented experience in the repair and maintenance of equipment in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Certification(s): Possess a Plant Mechanic IV Certification from Technology Transfer Services OR possess ten (10) years of documented experience with demonstrate proficiency in skills required to obtain the required certification, and ability to obtain certification within twelve (12) months of entering the position. PERFORMANCE APTITUDES:Data Utilization: Requires the ability to determine, calculate, tabulate, or summarize data/information, following a prescribed plan requiring the exercise of some judgment. Includes performing subsequent actions in relation to these computational operations. Industrial Maintenance Technician

Pay Range: $23–$28 per hour (Based on experience and skill level) Schedule: Monday–Friday, Full-Time (Day Shift, no later than 5:00 PM) Are you a mechanically inclined professional with a strong background in industrial maintenance?
