Mechanical Engineering Technician

Mechanical Engineer POSITION SUMMARY: VT Design Solutions, located in Cincinnati, Ohio, has an immediate need for a Professional Engineer who is registered in the State of Ohio with experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire suppression systems. A successful candidate will be responsible for managing the design of MEP and fire suppression systems for our industrial, commercial, retail, educational, hospital, and government clients. You will manage and supervise designers in multiple disciplines on projects to prepare construction documents for mechanical and fire suppression systems. RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary responsibilities include site audits, calculations, equipment selections, drawing preparations, project budgets, construction cost estimating, construction administration support, meeting/review participation, project staffing, writing proposals, and stamping drawings. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical preferred). 5+ years of design experience for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire suppression systems 3+ years of experience using Auto CAD (Revit is a plus) Proficient in the use of Carrier HAP load analysis program Understanding of mechanical codes and regulations Understanding of NFPA, ANSI, and ASHRAE Standards Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Programs (Excel, Word). HVAC Site Maintenance Technician - Highland Heights, KY / NKY

TDG Facilities LLC is looking for a full-time Site-Based HVAC Maintenance Technician in the NORTHERN KENTUCKY / HIGHLAND HEIGHTS / WILDER KENTUCKY area to help serve a large education facility client located within the Northern Kentucky Region. This role requires knowledge of corrective, preventative, and routine repair and maintenance procedures which may include carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Experience working with various building pumps, water softeners, and other facility mechanical assets is a plus. We also like to utilize skillsets such as commercial carpentry, commercial garage door repair, drywall and construction experience to better serve our clients. This position includes access to a company vehicle while on the work site. We’re seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern with an interest in HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection Systems in buildings to join our Life Sciences team in Cincinnati, Ohio. You’ll have the opportunity to use your theoretical knowledge and apply it to solving today’s challenges. This intern position is for the summer of 2026. As part of our team, you’ll have the chance to work on projects that bring innovative solutions to our clients’ challenges locally and worldwide by providing a range of engineering services. You’ll be responsible for providing system design calculations and other related design services including coordination with the designs of other trades (architectural and engineering) under the guidance of Professional Engineers. You’ll assist in the design of heating and cooling systems, domestic water and waste systems, and sprinkler systems while also helping develop the plans for the overall building safety. You’ll also take ownership of the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the work assigned to you by demonstrating the ability to progress from basic design work assignments to more complicated and involved projects working in conjunction with a technical team.
