Test Engineer

Test Engineer Kettering, OH/Remote IPTA's Technology Solutions Team is passionate about providing our customers with technical solutions that satisfy their business needs. We are looking for: • Smart people with a passion for technology • Ability to solve challenging business problems • Self-directed professionals • Hunger to continually learn and grow Responsibilities: • Plans and administers environmental, operational, or performance tests on aeronautical, electrical, mechanical, electro-mechanical, general industrial, experimental, automotive equipment, industrial machinery and equipment, controls, and systems, and other products and systems. • Designs and directs engineering and technical personnel in fabrication of testing and test-control apparatus and equipment. • Positions covered by this definition are characterized by the inclusion of work that requires an understanding of both theories and principles. • Excludes paraprofessional positions. • Coordinates and directs engineering activities concerned with the development, procurement installation, and calibration of instruments, equipment, and control devices required to test, telemeter, record, and reduce test data. • Determines conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations. • Directs and exercises control over operational, functional, and performance phases of tests. • Confers with scientific, engineering, and technical personnel to resolve testing problems, such as product or systems malfunctions, incomplete test data, and data interpretations considering such factors as conditions under which test was conducted and instrumentation, procedures, and phase of test used to obtain and record data. • Analyzes and interprets test data and prepares technical reports for use by engineering and management personnel. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in a related field • Eight (8) years of prior experience in a similar role • DoD 8570 Level II/II certification required • Active Security Clearance Required IPTA is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer. Engineering Co-op: SolidWorks We are seeking an Engineering Co-op to support our Process, Engineering & Development department.
