Mechanical Engineering Specialist

We’re looking for a technical support engineer to carry out the methodological part of the manufacturing outsourced to suppliers in compliance with the rules and methods of the company: industrial performance, quality, safety, continuous improvement, and internal regulations. You participate in the industrialization phases, you manage the costings, produce the ranges and nomenclatures, provide technical support to the suppliers in charge of manufacturing and you manage the potential non-conformities resulting from these manufacturing operations in conjunction with the buyer in charge of the case. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - Collect information for the development of the specifications (consultation and exploitation of the customer specifications, reference, index, supply of materials and components, reference documents, existing parent ranges, quality documents, plan, modeling, and 3D model) and ensure their compliance (verification of ratings, indices) - From the technical data collected, establish the costings of the products, and enter them into SAGE. Write the manufacturing nomenclatures of new products and subcontracted manufacturing ranges and update existing documents. - Enter and update technical data via ERP (items, tools, documents, ranges, nomenclatures, equivalences) - Ensure the optimization of the tools integrated into ERP and the integrity of the input data. - Participate in manufacturing monitoring in conjunction with the buyer in charge of the file. - In application of the company's quality policy, implement the documents / records following changes, ensure configuration management to guarantee the control and application of it. - Ensure external technical relations (customers or suppliers) and provide technical support to suppliers (development of documentation, configuration management, implementation of special processes) - Ensure the management of "deviations requests" during manufacturing. Engineering Supervisor

Job purpose The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for enhancing the profitable performance of FMI within the Innomotive Solutions Group of companies by seeking to continually improve the functionality and efficiency of the Engineering Team plus delivering on growth-oriented initiatives. This will be accomplished by actively engaging in the activities of the team, supporting other areas of operations and helping to establish and implement programs in the areas of product design and development, process engineering and manufacturing engineering.
