Automotive Technician/Mechanic

Job Description -Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and/or standards. -Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification. -Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs. -Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers. -Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology. -Inspect and test new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made. Qualifications As an Automotive Technician (Automotive Mechanic), you will be experienced and aware of the latest automotive technologies and be a persistent problem solver. We have determined some factors that may enable your success as an Automotive Technician: -2+ years of automotive repair experience -Hold a valid driver's license -Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service -Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.) -Must have own tools Additional information: We have a year round climate controlled, state of the art service department with all of the latest technology! Diesel Mechanic

Overview We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems. This role is essential for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet, which includes tractor-trailers and farm machinery. The Diesel Mechanic will work in a collaborative environment, providing excellent customer service while delivering high-quality repairs. Responsibilities • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in diesel engines and related systems. • Perform routine maintenance on diesel vehicles, including oil changes, brake repairs, and HVAC system checks. • Repair and replace defective parts using schematics and technical manuals. • Fabricate components as necessary to ensure optimal performance of equipment. • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed. • Communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs and recommendations. • Collaborate with team members to improve repair processes and efficiency. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working on equipment. Requirements • Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical documents. • Proficiency in equipment repair, including brake repair and HVAC systems. • Familiarity with farm machinery is a plus. • Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with clients. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Valid driver's license is required; CDL is preferred.
