Mechanical Designer

MECHANICAL DESIGNER – VICTAULIC -Corporate Engineering – EASTON, PA • *RELOCATION PACKAGE OFFERED** Victaulic is currently seeking a Mechanical Designers to work within our Engineering Design Department at its corporate facilities located in Easton, PA. This position involves working within a collaborative team environment to design and document product solutions to satisfy our customer needs. The successful candidate should possess a strong aptitude for creative design, be resourceful, detail oriented, and work comfortably within a cross-functional team environment. Primary Responsibilities: • Create and/or modify concept layouts, 3D models, assemblies, and detail drawings utilizing SolidWorks Computer Aided Design (CAD) with SolidWorks Product Data Management (PDM) software. • Research relevant component and technical related resources in support of project objectives. • Provide design solutions while being mindful of form, fit, function, manufacturability, and cost. • Apply internal best practices along with applicable industry standards, e.g. ANSI, ASME. • Maintain Technical Data Package throughout product lifecycle, e.g. drawings, revision history, bill of materials, literature submittals, etc. • Collaborate with Product Engineers and entire product development teams. Mechanical Engineer (Facilities)

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer (Facilities) for their manufacturing complex in the Allentown, PA area. Key Responsibilities: Mechanical Systems Expertise: Deep understanding and management of HVAC systems, piping networks, air compression systems, and water treatment systems. Design and Engineering: Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and piping systems, utilizing 3D modeling software (Solidworks preferred). Problem-Solving: Employ structured problem-solving methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean A3) to identify and resolve manufacturing issues. Project Management: Lead capital projects, from initial design to final implementation, including cost estimation, scheduling, and safety oversight. Technical Support: Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for emergency maintenance and operational issues. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program. 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or facility engineering environment. Facilities Mechanical Project Engineer

Facilities MEchanical Project Engineer DESCRIPTION Position: Facilities Mechanical Project Engineer Location: Global Facilities Engineering - Corporate Headquarters, Easton, PA About the job: The Facilities Mechanical Project Engineer will be responsible for all mechanical infrastructure/ systems, existing and new, especially to include design, coordination, installation, and auditing new and existing Fume-Dust collection and ventilation systems ensuring operating efficiency, proper maintenance, and compliance with all internal/external regulatory requirements for all systems at Victaulic’s Production Facilities domestically and globally. Key Responsibilities: Required: Design, selection, and installation of equipment for Collection/ Process Ventilation systems for Foundry Dust and General Fume Collection/Ventilation type of systems Experience with plant balancing, specifying equipment and installation of Dust collection systems, Make-up air systems, general ventilation systems, and Duct work design and installation. Develop Global standards and procedures for hand-off to Manufacturing operations for operating and maintaining systems to include standard work instructions, compliance control plans, and standard O&M procedures and documentation. Manage projects by efficiently working with manufacturing operations, safety, environmental, quality, accounting, sourcing, and/or any other internal and external project stakeholders. Audit, support and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards/requirements. Desired: Design, selection, and installation of equipment for Compressed air and Cooling water systems to include piping, compressors, chillers, cooling towers, and other related equipment. Qualifications: (education, experience, skills, personal attributes): Education: Bachelor's degree – Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with practical experience Experience/Skills: 3-5 years minimum experience in a manufacturing facilities environment, foundry experience is a plus. Strong background/knowledge in the design, development, and installation of Plant Ventilation and Dust/Fume Collection Systems Working knowledge or experience of ACGIH Industrial Ventilation standards and practices. Working knowledge of pipe sizing for compressed air, natural gas, water systems and related equipment is a plus. Ability to read, interpret and create drawings, specifications, and other information required to support design and development of construction documentation from concept through full implementation of a project. General knowledge of, or ability to learn, national and local building codes, Environmental, OSHA and/or application of codes governed by other Domestic and International localities. Experience working with outside contractors to include competitive bid process, responding to RFI’s, issue addendums, process change orders and any related task required by the process. Due to the broad nature of Facility Engineering projects, having basic knowledge in the following engineering disciplines are beneficial: Architectural, Civil, Electrical, Environmental, and Foundry Operations Strong skills in the following software: AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project or related project management software Personal Attributes: Engineer will need strong skills in equipment/process design, problem solving, and new process development and ability to multitask multiple projects simultaneously. Must possess good organization and communication skills and capable of working effectively whether independently or with others in Teams. Willingness to work outside normal working days/hours to support Facility/Plant Emergencies and/or work with project teams both domestically and Internationally across different time zones.
