Mechanical Engineer I

JOB SUMMARY The Manufacturing Engineer provides the necessary link between customer requirements and manufacturing processes. Develops and improves manufacturing methods, applies lean concepts and techniques to optimize processes. REPORTING TO Engineering Manager ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION • Utilizes technical instructions to develop specifications for customer products. • Maintains engineering change control for customers part drawings and requirements using MRP software and Engineering Vault software. • Identifies appropriate materials and processes to ensure the quality, performance, and manufacturability of contracted customer orders. • Utilizes CAD software and other design and modeling tools to aid in design and manufacture of tooling and machine components. • Analyzes and troubleshoots mechanical issues or failures to identify root causes and develop solutions. • Performs a variety of engineering assignments in developing and implementing production/processing methods and controls to meet quality standards in the most cost-efficient manner. • Assists in preventative maintenance planning and effectiveness for production equipment. • Reviews proposals of outside vendors regarding the purchase of new or modernized production/processing equipment and monitors equipment upgrades and improvements. • Continuously monitors operations to ensure compliance with approved methods and quality standards. • Assists with PFMEA, control plans and new project schedules. • Other duties as assigned. Mechanical Designer

MECHANICAL DESIGNER – VICTAULIC -Corporate Engineering – EASTON, PA • *RELOCATION PACKAGE OFFERED** Victaulic is currently seeking a Mechanical Designers to work within our Engineering Design Department at its corporate facilities located in Easton, PA. This position involves working within a collaborative team environment to design and document product solutions to satisfy our customer needs. The successful candidate should possess a strong aptitude for creative design, be resourceful, detail oriented, and work comfortably within a cross-functional team environment. Primary Responsibilities: • Create and/or modify concept layouts, 3D models, assemblies, and detail drawings utilizing SolidWorks Computer Aided Design (CAD) with SolidWorks Product Data Management (PDM) software. • Research relevant component and technical related resources in support of project objectives. • Provide design solutions while being mindful of form, fit, function, manufacturability, and cost. • Apply internal best practices along with applicable industry standards, e.g. ANSI, ASME. • Maintain Technical Data Package throughout product lifecycle, e.g. drawings, revision history, bill of materials, literature submittals, etc. • Collaborate with Product Engineers and entire product development teams. Job Title: Mechanical Electrical Technician Job Description This role requires hands-on mechanical support for the operation, repair, maintenance, and preventative maintenance of all manufacturing equipment and systems, including processes. The position is crucial for equipment and system troubleshooting, installation, debugging, and commissioning in a manufacturing setting. Additionally, it serves as the technical resource for all manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities • Read, follow, and interpret all types of electrical and piping schematics, as well as blueprints and illustrated parts breakdowns. • Develop layouts, cost estimates, and schedules for installations and operations of new equipment, as well as repair of existing plant equipment. • Update mechanical blueprints and lists as needed to maintain, rebuild, install, or revise any required equipment. • Repair and rebuild at least six primary pieces of equipment throughout the plant.
