This dynamic position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing production strategies, and leveraging engineering expertise to enhance overall production performance. Primary Functions: • Perform engineering design calculations • Interpret specifications (industry, product, or customer) and convert requirements into final designs with minimal supervision. • Draw, organize, and document existing parts. • Build and maintain part, drawing, and assembly libraries to expedite workflow. • Support sales and applications with quoting special valve components and assemblies. • Create part and/or installation drawings to meet customer specifications. • Generate BOM’s, parts lists, and user manuals • Maintain data within Syteline ERP system • Evaluate products and collect performance data through onsite testing. • Work closely with other departments on design for manufacturing. • Assist with continuous improvement projects for the manufacturing facility. • Participate in cross functional project teams. • Learn and share best practices with other team members. • Document new drafting and file management processes.
