In this role, you will be a crucial part of our operations, maintaining and improving the performance of all our construction equipment. You will be working with a wide variety of machinery, from conveyors and packaging equipment to motors and Allen Bradley PLC's. As such, a strong background in pneumatics, electrical troubleshooting, mechanical maintenance, and electrical controls is essential. Responsibilities • Diagnose and repair malfunctions in complex electrical and mechanical equipment, including motors, conveyors, and packaging systems. • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on Allen Bradley PLC's and other electrical control systems. • Utilize your expertise in pneumatics to maintain and improve our equipment's performance. • Troubleshoot electrical issues, using your knowledge and experience to identify and fix problems quickly and efficiently. • Assist in the design and installation of new machinery and equipment, ensuring that all systems meet our high standards of safety and performance. • Collaborate with other team members and departments to optimize workflow and improve overall operational efficiency. • Document all maintenance and repair work, contributing to our ongoing effort to improve procedures and best practices. • Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, maintaining a safe and productive work environment for all employees. Qualifications • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electro-Mechanical Technician or in a similar role. • Extensive knowledge of and experience with pneumatics, electrical troubleshooting, mechanical maintenance, and electrical controls. • Proven experience working with motors, conveyors, packaging equipment, and Allen Bradley PLC's. • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues. • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with other departments and team members. • A commitment to safety and efficiency, with a track record of maintaining a safe and productive work environment. • Ability to document all work performed and contribute to the development of maintenance procedures and best practices. • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively. • Must be able to work independently and make decisions based on a thorough understanding of the necessary technical requirements. Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.Primary Responsibilities In the role of Senior Mechanical Design Specialist, we'll count on you to: Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures to produce drawings and other contract deliverables Assist senior engineers by conducting analyses to develop design options or recommendations, and assist in the preparation of cost estimates Select and schedule equipment and devices for mechanical systems, working with equipment vendors to obtain equipment selections when necessary Develop sections and elevations for complex ductwork and piping areas Develop air and water flow diagrams Review mechanical documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines Work independently on small projects and assist more senior engineers on larger projects Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables Coordinate workload to complete tasks on schedule Assist the project team with mechanical discipline tasks throughout all project phases ranging from feasibility studies, programming, conceptual design, schematic design, construction documents, construction administration, commissioning, and project close-out Perform field work and verification of existing conditions where required Provide construction administration support by reviewing mechanical submittals and answering RFIs Visit project sites as requested or as contractually required to monitor construction progress and prepare field observation reports Coordinate with and assist affected disciplines with project addenda, RFIs, and change orders, and take responsibility to incorporate agreed-upon changes into the project documents. Qualifications Experience: - Minimum five (5) years previous service-related experience. - Demonstrated ability at operating installation tools and test equipment. - Extensive knowledge and experience in electronics functionality, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair. - Advanced knowledge and experience in design, installation, service, and supervision or maintenance of complex mechanical/electrical equipment. - Ability to read and understand installation/architectural drawings, field measurements and technical documentation. Educational requirements: - Minimum high school diploma or GED.
