Senior Design Engineer

Company: Siemens Industry, Inc. Location: 811 North Main Street, Bellefontaine, OH 43311 Position Title: Senior Design Engineer Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, 40 Hours/ Week Summary of Duties: Uses Pro/Engineering (Creo) to create models and drawings of products. Researches new materials and methods of development. Organizes and maintain existing engineering records, Constructs prototypes and confirm designs. Performs physical testing on engineering prototypes. Ensures components and assemblies adhere to applicable industry and business standards. Implements New Designs at various manufacturing locations. Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and problem solve effectively. Less than 5% travel throughout North America. Qualifications: The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field and Eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or an acceptable alternate occupation. The position requires experience with the following: Proficient in Pro/Engineer (Creo); Experience with sheet metal package; Experience modeling, detailing, and creating bills of material; Experience using Dynamic analysis tools; and Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
