Engineering Technician

Engineering Technician CELINA is looking for a hands-on Engineering Technician to join our Maintenance Team! Reporting to the Maintenance & Facilities Manager, the Engineering Technician plays an important role in maintaining the operational capability of CELINA's industrial equipment. Working with minimal supervision, the Engineering Technician performs diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on a variety of machinery and equipment used in our production processes. Location: Celina Tent, Inc. (5373 State Route 29; Celina, OH) Department: Maintenance What You'll Do: • Lead & perform preventative maintenance activities to improve machine uptime and product quality • Support equipment development and implementation projects • Identify & implement improvements to machine efficiency and reliability across departments • Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment • Work with sewing machines, RF welders, CNC machines, and printers • Support equipment improvements and new installations • Keep things running safely, smoothly, and efficiently • Use your skills in mechanics, PLCs, VFDs, Robotics, and diagnostics • Collaborate with production teams and vendor • Other duties as assigned Key Skills & Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or maintenance • High school diploma required; technical degree preferred • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills • Experience with PLCs, HMIs, Robotics and VFDs a strongly preferred • Basic computer and Microsoft Office knowledge • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in active, hands-on environments • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation What We Look For: • Problem-solving, entrepreneur mindset • Team player with a strong work ethic • Safety-first attitude • Dependable and punctual Why Join CELINA? • Work with a growing, innovative company • Supportive team environment • Opportunities to improve, learn, and lead • Hands-on, impactful work every day
