Mechanical Engineer

Celina Aluminum Precision Technology is looking for a ManufacturingEngineer to join our team! PLEASE NOTE, THIS IS NOT A DESIGN ENGINEERING POSITION At first glance, one might not fully appreciate the significance of CAPT’s products. By mastering the art of melting, casting and machining aluminum, CAPT’s manufacturing processes result in the highest quality aluminum products. These products become part of legendary Honda automobile engines – engines known for efficient operation, reduced friction, higher output and enhanced gas mileage. CAPT has also solidified their place as a supplier in the Electric Vehicle market through our chassis parts business enhancements. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods by observing and working on the production floor. Must be able to make adjustments to the equipment and help maintain equipment. • Review and analyze daily report(s) to identify potential countermeasures and /or root cause analysis opportunities and strive for continuous improvement. • Analyze and plan work force utilization, space requirements, workflow, layout equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency. • Produce and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule. • Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating labor and material costs. • Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. • Confer with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluate products according to specifications and quality standards. • Manage project implementation, schedule, budget and resource allocations to ensure successful completion and target achievement. Estimate manufacturing cost, determine time standards, and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. • Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations. • Collect and analyze data to implement improvement countermeasures by comparing before and after baselines and results. • Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services. Qualifications • BSME / BSMET / BSEE / BS Manufacturing Engineering or 3 yrs of equivalent experience • Must have experience developing, evaluating and improving manufacturing methods by observing and working on the production floor. Must also have experience making adjustments to equipment. • Experience working with different types of metals, their properties, and that casting equipment used. • Computer Proficient • Experience working with Robots • Must be capable of maintaining a preventative maintenance schedule • Experience communicating in written and verbal forms to Supervisors, Engineers, and General Associates in a professional manner. • Must be able to lift/carry 40lbs. Have the ability to access any area of the production floor. Assist production with manufacturing trouble including some repairs. • Must be able to use hand tools on, above, in, under, or beside manufacturing equipment. Process Engineer (1088192)

Location: Celina, OH Salary: $110,000.00 USD Annually - $120,000.00 USD Annually Description: Our plastics manufacturing client is currently seeking a Process Engineer. This Job Will Have The Following Responsibilities • Serve as the plant expert and champion for a new in-line process designed to enhance film properties; own the process, ensure safe and efficient operation, and train all relevant personnel. • Standardize plant operations to reduce yield loss and consistently deliver high-quality products and services. • Develop, maintain, and update manufacturing specifications to support operational excellence. • Lead initiatives to identify and implement step-change improvements in plant performance. • Train and mentor employees to enhance operational flexibility, responsiveness, and technical expertise. • Collaborate with the Product Development team on product improvement initiatives, including managing commercial trials. • Identify, prioritize, and oversee process improvement projects focused on waste reduction, throughput enhancement, and quality improvement. • Document all process improvements and new operational directives to ensure consistency and knowledge retention. • Manage project-related expenditures and ensure alignment with budgetary goals. • Troubleshoot daily process challenges to maintain safety, product quality, and manufacturing efficiency. • Develop business cases for proposed process improvements and provide scope estimates for potential projects. • Ensure all finished products meet customer specifications and quality expectations. • Ensure all improvement initiatives comply with company and OSHA safety standards • Ensure the safety of all direct reports through active engagement in safety initiatives and clear communication of safe work expectations. • Investigate and respond to equipment or line stoppages caused by perceived or actual safety risks. • Fulfill all responsibilities in compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws. • Lead risk assessment activities and drive corrective and preventive actions to mitigate environmental, health, and safety risks. • Conduct thorough incident investigations, perform root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions promptly.
