CNC Programmer/ Operator Job Description: Wiederhoeft Manufacturing is looking for a CNC Programmer / Operator. The candidate for this position must be able to work with minimal guidance in any given manufacturing situation. Create and maintain programs and setup sheets to match current drawings. You must also be an excellent communicator as you will be working with other machinists. You will not only be programming machines, but you will also be operating them as well. Responsibilities: · Program and write machining sequences and maintain setup sheets. · CNC machining utilizing both handwritten G-Code and Cad/ Cam Software. · Ensure that machines that are being used have proper fixtures and tooling prior to job run. · Design and manufacture fixtures and jigs. · Assist the Engineering Department as needed. · Experience in running Doosan & Haas Machines is a plus. Qualifications: · Minimum of 5 years in programming CNC Machinery. Experience in programing other machines is a plus. · Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Collaborate with other in a positive manner. · Able to read and understand blueprints and CAD drawings. · Ability to program, test, and revise products while noting changes between products and blueprints/ drawings. · Ability to handle multiple tasks. · Proficient computer knowledge. · Physical Stamina and strength to lift heavy items and able to stand or be in physical demanding positions for long periods of time.
