CNC Machinist Programmer

We are seeking a Direct Hire CNC Machine Engineer to join our 1st shift team. Monday - Friday Flexible start time between 6am -8am. Salary Range between $75-90K DOE. Veterans Encouraged to Apply!!! Key Responsibilities: Quality Assurance & Safety: Inspect finished parts using precision instruments to ensure they meet specifications and actively promote a safe working environment. Communication & Teamwork: Effectively communicate and collaborate with colleagues, supervisors, external partners, and customers. CNC Programming & Process Development: Develop and write CNC programs for lathes, mills, and grinders. Design and modify fixtures, tooling, programs, and processes using CAD (SolidWorks) and CAM (Mastercam). Tooling & Fixture Management: Design tooling, specify gaging, and manage the requisition and organization of cutting tools and machining/grinding fixtures. Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement: Establish work procedures for new products, monitor machine performance, participate in cost reduction initiatives, optimize equipment setup and cycles, and recommend process improvements. CNC Programming Expertise: Program all plant-wide CNC equipment and develop prototype parts using CAM simulation. Key Skills & Focus: Proficiency in using precision measurement instruments. Strong commitment to safety. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Expertise in CNC programming for various machine types. Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks) and CAM (Mastercam) for design and process development. Ability to design and manage tooling and fixtures. Focus on process optimization and continuous improvement. Experience in prototype development using CAM simulation. Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of experience in machining engineering or a related role, with hands-on experience in CNC operations. Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications for effective communication and reporting. Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks, Mastercam) and familiarity with technical drawing interpretation. Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams and customers. Employment Conditions: Must successfully pass a drug screen and background check. Preferred Skills: • Knowledge of mechanics. • Extensive experience in CNC Machining. • Understanding of the iron foundry process. • Understanding of a manufacturing facility.
