CNC Machinist - Evening Shift

Join Our Team as a CNC Machinist! If you are an experienced machinist looking for your next opportunity, we want to hear from you! We are offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus for Machinists: $1,500 after 6 months and $1,500 after 1 year for non-agency, direct-hire candidates. Pay Ranges: • Mid-level Candidates: $25-$29/hour • Experienced Candidates: $30-$40/hour All second shift employees receive a 15% shift differential in addition to base pay! Shift Details: Monday through Thursday, 3:30pm-2:00am with potential overtime as needed. Key Responsibilities: • Produce parts to specifications using various machine tools and hand tools. • Load and unload machines while ensuring the correct setup. • Change tools and set up CNC machines (Haas, Mazak, Doosan). • Perform offsets and edit G and M codes to meet production standards. • Conduct secondary duties including broaching, buffing, deburring, and grinding. • Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards. • Carry out general maintenance on machines. • Complete other duties as assigned. Requirements: Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist. Skills Required: • Basic computer and math skills (both standard and metric). • Effective communication abilities (written and verbal). • Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities. • Ability to use hand tools and power tools. • Competence in understanding and applying safety procedures. • Basic knowledge of inspection equipment and the ability to read blueprints is a must. • Experience with Haas, Mazak, and Doosan equipment is preferred. • Problem-solving skills related to machining and tooling are necessary. Physical Demands: • Ability to stand or walk for the majority of the shift. • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive motions.
