Machinist We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. This role involves operating slitter machines, performing assembly, labeling, quality control, and packaging tasks. Some positions may require minor equipment set-up and operation. Responsibilities : • Operate packaging machines and other machinery as required. • Perform assembly and labeling tasks. • Conduct quality control checks to ensure product standards. • Handle packaging of finished products. • Engage in minor equipment set-up and operation as necessary. Essential Skills : • 2 years of manufacturing machine operation experience. • Reliable transportation and driver's license. Work Environment : • This position operates in a clean environment, working in teams of 2-4. • Our dress code includes jeans or work pants, with a requirement to wear all necessary personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, nitrile gloves, and cut-resistant gloves. • 1st shift and 2nd shift available, 5 : 00 am - 3 : 30 pm OR 3 : 15 pm - 1 : 45 am Monday - Thursday, occasional overtime on Fridays Job Type & Location : This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ames, Iowa. Pay and Benefits : The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
