CNC Machinist

We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Lathe Machinist to join our precision machining team. The Ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathes to manufacture high-quality parts to tight tolerances. A strong understanding of blueprint reading, G-code, tooling, and material characteristics is essential. To be successful as a CNC machinist you should be creative, perceptive, detail-oriented and an active learner. Top candidates will have exceptional critical thinking, time management and communication skills, an ability to handle complex machines and tools, and a willingness to lead by example in the workplace. Qualifications Experience operating CNC lathes , M & G codes, Fanuc controls. Operation and use of inspection, measuring and test equipment. Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings. Strong understanding of machining principles and tooling concepts. Ability to use a variety of precision measurement tools correctly and confidently. Familiarity with CNC programming or editing. Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. Ability to lift 50-75 lbs., and stand for extended periods. High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Skills • Manual equipment operation experience. Experience with tight-tolerance parts and exotic materials. Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality environments. Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines. Cross-training in mill work or multi-axis machines is a plus. CNC Programming experience in Fusion 360 or other CNC software is a plus.
