Machinist

The machinists work closely with our Engineering and Production departments to create parts for our manufacturing equipment. • Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications • Operates machine tools such as lathes, milling machines and grinders to produce parts • Programming and running CNC mills and CNC lathes • Basic understanding of G code • Review electronic or written blueprints or specifications for a job • Maintains specifications by taking measurements with proper measuring devices • Troubleshoot equipment • Maintains equipment by completing preventative maintenance • Documents actions by completing production and quality logs • Other duties as assigned Requirements • Precision Machining or similar technical degree preferred • Intermediate math skills • Attention to detail • Ability to read blueprints • Understand computer software programs such as CAD • Ability to work independently • Experience with machine tools such as lathes, milling machines and grinders Benefits We are committed to providing salary ranges for all open positions. The salary range for this position is: $52,000 - $65,000. This range reflects the base salary for this position. Machine Operator (12am-8am)
