Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled CNC Machine Programmer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for programming and operating CNC equipment to produce high-quality Signature products utilizing software and tooling. Highlights of Your Role: • Utilize CAM software to develop precise CNC machine programs for complex component machining. • Execute CNC machining of components made from metal, plastic, wood, and composites. • Program and manage macros for CNC Routers, ensuring streamlined operations. • Collaborate with Engineering and R&D teams to test and support the design of innovative products and processes. • Continuously optimize machining processes on CNC Routers. • Efficiently program orders and templates for production. • Provide training and operational support for CNC Router operators. • Oversee part quality and inspection processes. • Consult with design engineers on part functionality and machining suitability. • Manage inventory of consumable supplies for CNC equipment. • Ensure proper maintenance of all CNC equipment. You're a Great Fit If You Have: • A high school diploma or GED; a 2-year Associate's degree in machining or a related field is preferred. • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a prototyping environment with advanced CNC machine tools. • Proficiency in CNC controls and operating programs. • Experience with rapid prototype equipment is a plus. • Solid knowledge of CNC tooling and commonly used tools (e.g., chop saw, table saw, drill press). • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and AutoCAD. • A strong team player attitude with self-motivation, dependability, and trustworthiness. • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and multi-tasking capabilities. Additional Qualifications: • A completed certification from an accredited technical school. • 3+ years of experience in CNC programming or AutoCAD programming. • Knowledge of door products is a plus.
