Position Summary As a Service Technician, you will perform diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services for residential HVAC systems, with occasional commercial service work as needed. You will represent the company on the front lines—providing professional, courteous, and efficient service while maintaining high safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities • Perform troubleshooting, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems, primarily residential. • Respond to service calls in a timely manner, following company scheduling and dispatch protocols. • Provide clear explanations of issues and recommended solutions to customers. • Complete service reports, invoices, and related documentation accurately. • Maintain tools, company vehicle, and equipment in excellent working order. • Follow all safety guidelines and company quality standards. • Identify opportunities for system improvements, upgrades, or replacements when appropriate. • Participate in occasional commercial service calls when required. Qualifications and Requirements • 5+ years of HVAC service experience (residential focus preferred). • EPA Certification (Type II or Universal). • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required. • Familiarity with the DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia areas is a plus. Work Schedule • Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. • One or two Saturday per month on-call Some flexibility required for occasional emergency service calls.
