HVAC Service Technician

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, including air conditioning and ammonia refrigeration. This role requires expertise in maintaining, building, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. The technician will also be responsible for troubleshooting issues and providing exceptional service to our clients. Duties • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units and refrigeration systems. • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure proper functionality. • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. • Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC installations and repairs as needed. • Operate company vehicles for service calls, ensuring timely arrival at job sites. • Weld components as necessary for repairs or installations of HVAC systems. • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job. • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications • Proven experience in HVAC/R installation and repair is preferred. • Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus. • Familiarity with plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems is beneficial. • Ability to operate a van or service vehicle safely and efficiently. • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively. • Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. • Certification or licensing in HVAC is preferred but not mandatory. • Willingness to learn new techniques and stay updated on industry trends.
