You’ll be responsible for: • Troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC systems to keep our buildings running efficiently. • Performing regular preventative maintenance to avoid breakdowns and ensure consistent performance. • Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical issues related to HVAC equipment. • Monitoring system performance and making adjustments to improve energy efficiency. • Collaborating with the facilities team to support general building maintenance. • Responding promptly to maintenance requests and ensuring minimal disruption to daily campus operations. • Keeping your working area safe, wearing and/or using appropriate safety equipment and tools, and abiding by established safety policies and procedures. Physical Demands Must be able to use a ladder, areal lift platform and all maintenance related equipment and tools. Must be able to lift items up to 50 pounds. Bending at the waist, sitting, kneeling, laying horizontally, climbing, frequent walking, etc. as job may require. Ability to work in all weather conditions. Qualifications • High School diploma or GED • Prior HVAC Experience • EPA 608 Universal Certification (current or willing to obtain) • Experience or certification preferred in one or more of the following core competencies: electrical, piping, or building automation systems.
