Job Summary We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. The technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration systems. • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC equipment using schematics and technical manuals. • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety standards. • Conduct field service visits to assess customer needs and provide timely solutions. • Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment for repairs and installations. • Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related concerns in a timely manner. • Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and equipment status. • Adhere to all safety protocols while working on-site. Requirements • Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role with a focus on service technician experience. • Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC/R systems, plumbing, refrigeration, and appliance repair. • Familiarity with HVAC design principles and construction practices is preferred. • Ability to read and interpret schematics related to HVAC systems. • Experience in field service operations with a strong customer service orientation. • Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus. • Valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites. • Previous experience in property maintenance or as a mechanic is advantageous.
