Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration systems. • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC equipment using schematics and technical manuals. • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety standards. • Conduct field service visits to assess customer needs and provide timely solutions. • Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment for repairs and installations. • Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related concerns in a timely manner. • Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and equipment status. • Adhere to all safety protocols while working on-site. Requirements • Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role with a focus on service technician experience. • Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC/R systems, plumbing, refrigeration, and appliance repair. • Familiarity with HVAC design principles and construction practices is preferred. • Ability to read and interpret schematics related to HVAC systems. • Experience in field service operations with a strong customer service orientation. • Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus. • Valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites. • Previous experience in property maintenance or as a mechanic is advantageous.
