HVAC Maintenance Technician

Potential Bonus We are seeking a skilled and versatile Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of maintenance skills and experience, enabling them to address various tasks in residential and commercial settings. Duties • Perform general maintenance and repairs across facilities, including plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC systems. • Execute welding tasks as needed for repairs or installations. • Utilize programmable logic controllers for troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment. • Interpret schematics to effectively diagnose issues and implement solutions. • Conduct residential painting projects with attention to detail and quality. • Oversee facilities maintenance to ensure all areas are safe and operational. • Maintain accurate records using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). • Provide leadership and supervision to junior staff or contractors during projects. • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and concerns promptly. Requirements • Proven experience in maintenance roles with a strong mechanical knowledge base. • Proficiency in electrical systems, including the use of an ohmmeter for testing. • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and facilities maintenance practices. • Strong ability to read and interpret schematics for various systems. • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. • Previous supervisory experience is preferred but not mandatory. • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on quality workmanship. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating leadership when necessary. Description Set Pay Rate: 29.56 per hour SHIFT: 7:30am-4:00pm Job Summary: Responsible for diagnosing and resolving HVAC issues. Position requires strong interpersonal skills and compassion, and respect for persons.
