HVAC Installation Technician

NO LESS THAN 1 YEAR HVAC – IN THE FIELD - EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! We are currently looking to hire a talented RESIDENTIAL INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN. North Ridge Mechanical LLC was est. May of 2012. What you’ll be doing: • A Full time HVAC Residential Installation Technician for Change-outs, New Construction and light Service work in the Carlisle Area What We’re Looking For: • Someone knowledgeable in: -Running Duct Work -Roughing In New Construction Homes Start to Finish -Residential Heat Pumps -Air Conditioners -Gas & Oil Furnaces -Boilers -Mini Split Systems -Geothermal Experience: We require at least 1 year of experience in the field. Resume MUST show at least 1 year in the field and provide information on your HVAC knowledge. HVAC Technician (M-F 7:30am-4:00pm)

Set Pay Rate: 29.56 USD per hour SHIFT: 7:30am-4:00pm Job Summary: Responsible for diagnosing and resolving HVAC issues. Position requires strong interpersonal skills and compassion and respect for persons with disabilities Essential Functions: • Diagnose and resolve plumbing related issues. • General knowledge and back up of Plumbing skills • Respond to emergency service calls promptly. • Read blueprint, building plans and schematics as required. • Use a variety of power tools hand tools and measuring devices/meters to perform job function. • Perform preventive maintenance on various types plumbing equipment. • Read and comply with work orders concerning service, modification, or installation of equipment. • Monitor, identify and respond promptly to malfunctioning of equipment. • Ensures contract performance in accordance with the direction and policies of Chimes DC • Performs quality work in accordance with safety procedures. • Comply with priorities for the flow of work • Use technology for the completion of specified job duties • Use and care for equipment properly following all safety requirements • Attend work regularly according to assigned work schedule • Wear ID badge(s) at all times while performing work under this contract. • Follow instructions • Attend and participate in all meetings and activities to facilitate professional development • Work cooperatively with others in a positive, enthusiastic, respectful, and courteous manner • Comply with all Agency policies and procedures and follow contract specifications • Pass and comply with rules for the site, security and safety guidelines, and Chimes District of Columbia Rules for the Workplace, and ensure others do the same • Assist as needed during Snow removal Physical Abilities Needed to Meet Work Demands: • Work requires good dexterity and physical condition. • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time • Ability to work in confined spaces • Ability to go up and down stairs • Ability to get into and out of truck • Ability to reach above the head, bend, kneel, stoop • Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 75 lbs. regularly as needed • Ability to work in dusty spaces or adverse weather conditions • Ability to see details on the floor, above the head, or on surfaces Job Competencies Needed for Success on the Job: • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with limited direct supervision • Ability to follow directions and focus on tasks • Ability to make decisions and solve problems with business needs in mind • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively • Ability to organize, plan, implement, review and revise • Ability to provide quality service and employee focused, outcome oriented products • Ability to provide guidance, direction, and technical support to staff • Ability to use integrity and ethical standards in job performance • Ability to understand technical written material and use technological applications • Ability to report problems or relate information • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English • Ability to use a telephone, computer, and computer software • Ability to use and care for equipment • Ability to manipulate numbers • Ability to understand and comply with safety procedures and environmental requirements • Ability to notice and report changes in work space conditions • Ability to notify supervisor when equipment or supplies are needed to perform task • Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner with numerous interruptions • Ability to attend work regularly according to assigned schedule and company policies • Ability to work a flexible schedule as required • Ability to attend and participate in training and work related meetings • Ability to work with others in a positive, enthusiastic, respectful, and courteous manner • Ability to comply with dress code and personal hygiene standards • Ability to comply with all building, security, and company policies and procedures Other requirements: • Valid driver's license from state of residence and ability to drive • License must have been valid for at least 3 years • Acceptable driving record as determined by Agency's insurance carrier and by Chimes DC policies and procedures • Candidates with disabilities preferred *This is for an employment ad, not a PD* • Secret Clearance required and maintained • US Citizenship required Essential Personnel: This position is designated as essential.
