Duties • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment. • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems using schematics and mechanical knowledge. • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance. • Collaborate with construction teams to integrate HVAC design into new building projects. • Provide field service support for residential and commercial clients, ensuring high-quality customer service. • Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment for repairs and installations. • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and equipment maintenance logs. • Assist with plumbing tasks as needed to support overall system functionality. Skills • Proficient in HVAC/R systems with a solid understanding of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating principles. • Experience as a service technician with hands-on knowledge of equipment repair and property maintenance. • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively. • Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus. • Background in construction or mechanic experience is beneficial for this role. • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. • Valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites.
